Freebies and loans then.
I fear you may be right.
Whether we think Graham's worth £3.5-4million, or not, if he had been a QPR player last season and bagged us 25 goals, we'd have been damned glad we were going into the premiership with him on our side, wouldn't we.

If we can't compete with teams like Swansea City, for players like Danny Graham, then who in the name of all that's holy, can we compete against, and more to the point, for whom?

It doesn't really matter what a few mb posters think of him or his price. The main point is, Warnock really wants Danny Graham.

And if the board don't match the £3.5m, which is now CLEARLY the price for the player Warnock wants, then they simply are refusing to back him. Simple as that.

Make no mistake folks - This is an open test of their ambition/backing of Warnock.

No excuses will wash on this one.

(If we do match the bid, and the wages, and he STILL goes to the backwaters of Swansea, then that's fair enough.)

          Have fun in Wales Danny.
          Who else is there though?

We have to be realistic and Graham is the most realistic player for us out there at the moment.

Ohhh I do fear for us next season. If you would rather have Hulse then good luck watching that tripe next season.

I still reckon he'll cost around £4m. I'd take him for that.

                        In Warnocks words:

"Its difficult to pin the owners down and get them round a table...you cant get them on the phone at the same time..."

Meanwhile the likes of Swansea and Norwich are stealing a march...

You would and so would most other fans on here, but it is not our/ their money, it is Bernie's, and he isn't going to part with that kind of dosh in a month of sundays...

This post hits the nail on the head. It's frustrating as hell watching the likes of Norwich and Swansea strengthen their squad. Norwich seem to have got Morrison, Vaughan and are trying to spend another £3.5m on Snodgrass, what have we done, resigned Ramage. If we are outbid by Swansea for Graham that is embarrassing and shows that Laurel and Hardy are not backing NW.

Yeah he could live:kiss: in England a massive advantage

All depends where in England, because many parts of this once beautiful country, especially london is like Somalia and other islamic countries, whereas Wales still has green green grass, so I would say that's not the best reason to use when trying to get him to sign.
