Warlocks transfer budget confirmed £1M down on plans
Most mates of mine don't know who Faurlin is and if they do know, they say he was your Player of the Year previous season, what took the FA so long to deal with it.
they dont know who faurlin is either Pete and they havent got much of a clue why we was dragged before the FA in the first place but unfortunately **** sticks when your dragged through it
Pretty sure the common consensus was (Pete included) that if GP or QPR was fined a penny piece due to Paladini's negligence then he 100% has to go.
Well...?
"Just to re-iterate along with Isleworthranger, that if found guilty and it causes us not to get promoted, he will have to go. We have to see what the findings are first.
QPR come first and foremost"
"You seemed to be indicating I and some others would be turning a blind eye, which is definitely not the case.
QPR are my life away from my family, not Gianni Paladini"
It's one bottle of wine passed 11pm on a Friday but I will close by saying this:-
Some people don't care how obvious it is they are on the catering staff or how much it makes them look a c0ck.
Fact of the matter is it was stated UNIVERSALLY that if the man in question was a sniff guilty and cost us a point or a pound he should go - immediately.
I am glad it was JUST a fine as for weeks there I struggled with work, sleep, eating (but not drinking) and sad as it may be the end result was relief.
In running my business I do it to a budget. If something unforeseen occurs, I under price a job or I get a fine from the HSE etc then that comes off my bottom line, my expenditure or I have to find it somewhere.
If people cannot grasp that £860k + legal costs must be recouped somewhere then they are in dreamworld.
Correctamondo that that MAY be via the transfer budget, may be via ST prices, may be via cut's in salaries etc and I was wrong to assert this is defo coming off of NW's transfer budget (when he finds out what he could've won on 12th September or whenever F1 finishes).
I have an agenda -- I'm open about it -- it's the good of Queens Park Rangers FC and my gut always told me Paladini wasn't and isn't that.
He took a £650k punt and fair play to him for having the melons for that. But he re-mortgaged one of his houses, took out a secured loan and bought himself a nice little earner and has had that back many fold since! Some actually think his investment (monetary - not emotional) has been written in such a way that when he walks away he will do so royally sucking the club and that is why his position is so copper bottomed --- pure conjecture granted.
I just cannot see how anyone who has overseen so many c0ck up's at this club, at any club, can still be in his position.
Don't roll out the "saved us via Flabio" and Faurlin is worth £5M bull -- cannot wash anymore.
Also, yes we are in the Prem --- because of him or in spite of him? Where would we be now if the Gino money could've been put into other players? Would we have been confirmed as Champs 5 games before the end of the season without Faurlingate? Could his interest free loans, payments to Mourbound / his wife (for what) of been used better elsewhere?
Who knows.
The question I need his cronies and spin doctors to answer me is --- did Gianni Paladini ever play for Napoli?
One word - yes or no?
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.
It's all a bit like saying because Stan Bowles, or Gerry Francis, or Les Ferdinand or (pick your own favourites) were such great players for the club, they should play for the club for ever. The greatest players and managers eventually outlive their usefulness, and have to be moved on, either before, or as is so often the case, after they become a liability. Can't see why the same argument can't apply to any employee.
You are absolutely correct on this. Of course they can and in this case perhaps now should.
Unfortunately, the main single reason that you get this continual defending of GP, is that the usual suspects, who keep starting thread after thread trying to put the totally opposite view, never give up. Furthermore, in their desperate attempts to get people to share their own opinions of the man, they are often happy to misrepresent things, make things up based upon what they believe to be the case and in some circumstances, tell outright lies, hence they instantly lose all credibility. If however, they offered up some proof of these allegations, it would have completely destroyed the man's credibility once and for all and there would be no need for arguments such as this.
GP has done many things well. He has also done many things very badly. Seems to me like those that feel he has done some good things, also admit the reverse. Those that believe he has been the anti-christ, simply will not listen to other points of view.
Personally mate, I am not in the slightest bit interested in listening to "personal opinions" about the man, regardless of wether they are attacking or defending him. I'd be very interested in the truth, but doubt I'll ever live to see that.
Surely, now would be a good time to forget about that particular individual and concentrate seriously on what Little and Large are doing to the club. They are extremely successful men in their own right. In theory, we should be grateful they are here. In fact, I think when they arrived, we were, until they lost the respect of the majority with their indifference and lack of consideration to the average fan.
QBP --- you may try to make light of it but to you or anyone else - put your bell-end on the block and answer me on that one specific question yes or no?
Did he ever play for Napoli?
Simple - Yes or No
Have the minerals to give me a one word answer or either 3 or two letters
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.
I'm glad GP has been seen for what he is by others. I don't need to lock horns with Pete no more as there are many other posters queuing up to dig out Gepetto.
Let's hope he moves on before the next embarrassing episode.
And I also believe that posters details are passed onto the club. This follows petes meeting with Ali Russell a couple of years ago.
