Truth is if we had bought Faurlin for near 3.5 million pound it would have been more than £400 per season ticket holder.
What a stupid argument !!!
We got fined the value they perceived Faurlin to be, no more no less.
Not spin.......FACT
Having said that there is no rhyme nor reason as to why they should use that method. If he had been crocked and less value, what give the club money I think not. Just a clever means to hit the club for someones else's incompetence. No matter which way you cut it, that one individual took it upon himself not to advise the Club Secretary or the Club's Legal Advisors of the "Comfort Letter" that is a matter of fact. It is not monopoly money its real money and as I predicted way before the ST price announced, that the fine would be reflected and built into the increases.Populus fui meus nomen , tamen meus nomen est non meus nomen

Now they think we are cheats or the team who charge ridiculous money for rubbish seats, or the club that beat up the Chinese or the team 'buying' success. I'd honestly prefer my QPR back then Premiership football.
League 1, conference, wherever, I am QPR. This attitude that the Prem is best is a real glory hunter sign; says it all about some tbh...

Unfortunately, the main single reason that you get this continual defending of GP, is that the usual suspects, who keep starting thread after thread trying to put the totally opposite view, never give up. Furthermore, in their desperate attempts to get people to share their own opinions of the man, they are often happy to misrepresent things, make things up based upon what they believe to be the case and in some circumstances, tell outright lies, hence they instantly lose all credibility. If however, they offered up some proof of these allegations, it would have completely destroyed the man's credibility once and for all and there would be no need for arguments such as this.
GP has done many things well. He has also done many things very badly. Seems to me like those that feel he has done some good things, also admit the reverse. Those that believe he has been the anti-christ, simply will not listen to other points of view.
Personally mate, I am not in the slightest bit interested in listening to "personal opinions" about the man, regardless of wether they are attacking or defending him. I'd be very interested in the truth, but doubt I'll ever live to see that.
Surely, now would be a good time to forget about that particular individual and concentrate seriously on what Little and Large are doing to the club. They are extremely successful men in their own right. In theory, we should be grateful they are here. In fact, I think when they arrived, we were, until they lost the respect of the majority with their indifference and lack of consideration to the average fan.

The last paragraph in the FA's report clearly show why.
If he did things by the book we would never have been there. Fact. No matter if it was guilty or not guilty. He could have ruined our dreams and put this club in tatters all because he wants to prove something.

Most mates of mine don't know who Faurlin is and if they do know, they say he was your Player of the Year previous season, what took the FA so long to deal with it.
The club in the form of one individual's omission failed to comply and was not straightforward throughout. I think that is an established fact. I deal with many senior Executives of companies including FTSE 100. They would have had their contract terminated for this lack of compliance and for trying to cover matters up. The comfort letter was seen and only handled by one person and one person alone, the weight of negligence falls upon their shoulders and their shoulders alone.
And before say that the rules came in later, once they came out the club could have demonstrated that it was putting this in order but did not bring it to the FA's attention not even after the comfort letter had been secured.
