Please explain to me why we got fined £800,000 plus in that case?

The last paragraph in the FA's report clearly show why.
Because of the incompetence of the way the transfer was handled.

      Is that incorrect?

I just make the point its gone so much downhill since the waiter pitched up and the people that brought him. look at us in the premiership, think what a stupid mistake that was
I asked a question. About you for others to answer. Not to you. I don't bother asking you anything anymore because you'll inevitably tell me to move on.

You seem to think asking me a question about a completely unrelated issue in some ways invalidates my question. No idea why.

Why not sit quietly like a good little puppet and let's just see if anyone sees fit to answer "Yes" to my question. Then let's see if they can actually give us a plausible explanation to support their answer.

Might try asking Pete to define what the word "fined" actually means. But you'll simply be told to move on.

Truth is if we had bought Faurlin for near 3.5 million pound it would have been more than £400 per season ticket holder.

              What a stupid argument !!!

We got fined the value they perceived Faurlin to be, no more no less.

              Not spin.......FACT
Your right Pete, what a silly point from Scott. It dont make any difference if you get a free seat

Pete give it a rest! It's very dull reading the same arguments week after week year after year. Many of us have done jobs for years and for our loyalty we get away with certain things now and again but we would never be allowed to cost our employees £1m regardless of what we've done in the past.

Your argument is like saying because Harold Shipman saved lives early on in his career he should be allowed to get away with what he did. Life doesn't work like that.

Comments like yours are what keeps me away from this board nowadays.

Paladini was looking to buy int a football club, after being bounced out of Port Vale where the board did no think that his intentions were honourable. He knew that financially QPR were in the shite big time and he went to watch them for the first time away at a windsweeped Adams Park. He offered an investment into the club, not telling the board of how he was going to raise these funds and at that time David Davies was desperate for any kind of cash to keep the club from going back into administration. But since then chaos has reigned. What was his real intentions originally? Given that he was a football agent did he see this as a way of using the club as some sort of advertising hoarding for players that he or associates had connections with? Why for quite a while, after the takeover were we only ever buying players whose agent was Base? These are questions I would love to see answered! And let us not forget that this is not the first time he has cost the club a small fortune, remember Gino Padula and the contract promise? Care to comment on that?

                    Buscelt

here is the negative stuff for Paladini

Sturridge, Czerkas, Tckamonte you could add some dreadful players..

Treatment of Holloway, could have been handled much better

Used to be too open to everyone , felt everyone was his mate

Trying to please too many people

Taking on too much responsibilty on his shoulders before the new owners came in

                    Positive stuff..

                    Keeping us out Administration

                    Very dedicated to QPR

The ABC loan interest was killing us ( 1 million a year, which is about £110 per season ticket holder) and somehow keeping us in the Championship

Keeping us in the Championship (not forgetting where we were before)

Bringing in Flavio, which led to Bernie and the Mittals (through Flavio)

Being able to do his job, when some of the fanbase really hate him.

Getting on well with the players and getting on well with Warnock

you need proof of that, why?

Success on the pitch doesn't mean we give incompetence in the boardroom a free pass.

For those willing to excuse the monetary cost of that incompetence, consider the impact the whole sorry saga had on our ability to enjoy our last few months of the season, not knowing until an hour before the last game, whether we could celebrate.

I may never forgive Paladini, or the club (they continue to employ him), for taking that away from us.

It was completely avoidable, and it would be better for the club if he were to leave now.

Apologies to all on A friday night.

                            You are right.............

We were so much happier in League 1, I do apologise.

Don't know what came over me.

Roll on the Chesterfield and Wycombe's of this world.

Silly ****ing waiter should never be anywhere near this football club.

Lets take some militant action against him......

not saying it couldn't have been avoided at all, all i am saying it's the same sh!t carried over from other seasons, nothing has changed, all the people voicing their opinions in a big way on here, try voicing them to the club instead.
Whether pete is or isn't a puppet is irrelivent as he has no clout or say at the club.
So don't honeslty see the point of all the in fighting, just my view of things.

I don't disagree with you there !!! (though we differ on where the ultimate respnsibility lies)

I'm pretty sure the FA could have dealt with it much earlier, but I do seriously understand your point.
