Mackail Smith to Wigan?

On SSN this morning...Wigan have had a £3m bid accepted for Craig Mackail Smith.

Personally, I'm not that bothered about CMS although I am slightly concerned that other teams seem to be very active in the market, especially for strikers.

Steve Morison in talks with Norwich, Swansea have bid £3m for Danny Graham...just hope we are not left behind. Would hate to lose out on good players to teams like Wigan, Norwich & Swansea.

In saying all of that, I have fiath in Neil and am sure that we are going about our business quietly.

I know he scored 35 goals last term, which proves he can score goals and I also know you have to take risks on players but 3m!!!!!!!! Far to much

SSN have just said that Norwich have also just had a £3.5m bid for Snodgrass from Leeds rejected

Wd like our board to be spending money but 3.5m for snodgrass, 2.5m for vaughan, a fortune bid for some other donkey - morrison? - none of those signings are going to look so good when Norwich are back in the npower championship next season with massive debts and a lot of very mediocre players.

well i think neil should be aware that a lot of teams have now realised that the prem is all about strikers,so they are getting snapped up why oh why cant we put a three million pound bid in for shane long

Yeah this is on SSN but they are saying 'The Sun' newspaper report Wigan have a £3million bid accepted. Get real people....

Norwich spending 8m on players which in my opinion are of no better quality than what they had. Hoolahan and Surman better than snodgrass, Holt better than Morrison even tho he is a muppet and Vaughan isn't an improvement on Jackson. It may be all about having a bigger squad for the Premiership but if I was a Norwich fan it wouldn't inspire me with much confidence.

Good post - although on the highlighted bit, I would suggest it is a longer term move to improve the squad for the next season back in the Championship - because the players they are signing will not cut it in the PL.
