Or maybe the opposite?
I dunno.
My head hurts.Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

No names, but deals will be done.
Warnock like last season wants all his signings in by pre-season training.
He will have 5 by that time
(bar 1 max 2 more after that)

QPR will need far more than that if they want to stay in the Premier League.
GK - Kenny is good, but I don't think Cerny is up to the standard as a back up.
FB - I doubt if Orr, Ramage or Hill are good enough.
CB - Gorkss & Connolly had a good Championship season, but were often caught out and only great goalkeeping by Kenny or desperate blocks from Hill and Derry prevented a goal. Neither has any pace and they will get caught out on a regular basis at the higher level. Hall is also not up to the standard. They may be ok as back up, but I wouldn't want to rely on them week in week out.
CM - Faurlin can make the step up, but I doubt if Derry can. After two serious knee injuries, Rowlands is probably finished as a top two divisions player.
Other midfield positions - Routledge (if he signs) has failed to impress enough at any of his previous spells n the PL.
Smith didn't do much when he played there for Portsmouth.
So far, Veggen- Moen has not shown any signs of being capable of playing at Championship level, so the Pl may be too much for him.
Mackie may be good enough, but will have to wait and see how he has recovered from his broken leg.
Taarabt can easily make the grade if his attitude adapts.
Buzsaky if he has fully recovered from his injury problems could be capable of playing in the PL.

My opinion is that Hulse, Agyemang, Vine, Clarke, Hewitt, Helguson (if he gets another year) are not PL standard strikers.
I would say that Warnock will need to sign about 10 new players and at least 6 of them would need to have played reasonably well at PL or similar level before.

Warnock said on TalkSport he hopes to put a list to Flavio and Bernie next week if he can ever get them to sit around a table together (busy lives) and see what they say.
If he can't do that, he probably won't be signing anyone until they can be arsed to meet him. It's a bit different from "Two deals next week" IMO.

I can see us signing a few journeymen just before the season kicks off but not on big wages. Approx £30k a week will be our top budget and I doubt anyone who gets offered that kind of money will sign for more than a season.

id say we need 7/8
for arguments sake id like:
another backup gk(make it 3 for a 25man squad) - somebody free/cheap - kingson?
right back - naughton, left back - would love tosic back.
cb - bougherra
cm - bullard + somebody like scott brown both competition for derry and faurlin. norris is available on a free would consider him too. noble at west ham.
winger - not routledge. would rather we had somebody else. but cant think who is available.
strikers (2) - graham and an alternative to what we have ie - small striker.. robbie keane-esq.
with this said id also retain shittu for cover at the back but bougherra would be a 110% target and starter. however.. ramage signed.. shittu not released.. plus our 3 others.. we'd have 6 cb's in 1 squad. somebody has to go/change position.Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"
