To even make comments like that publicly at this point (being the most visible representative of the club), I would guess Warnock is not a happy bunny right now at all.
Really quite concerning, to me at least.

I want to be really positive about the new season after the joy of the end of the last, but there seems to be a conspiracy against that happening right now. :(

I don't expect us to spend ridiculous amounts, but I don't think it's unreasonable to expect us to spend enough to at least give us a fighting chance of staying up - or what was the point of the drive to get there in the first place (oh...hang on).

Yeah, I heard the interview too. Have to say NW sounded pretty downbeat throughout, very little positive there. Very disappointing to hear from him that FB is back in charge and I got the impression they are some way from agreement on any players and transfer/wages budgets.

i heard him talking about being "excited" about the new season,how we are strengthening the squad,BE called him to offer him his full support,he is meeting with FB and BE to discuss transfer targets,the pre-season tours of italy-cornwall will do the players good,the fans have a huge part to play and loftus road will be an intimidating place for teams to visit.

but,hey,this is a message board,so lets just focus on the negatives,shall we?

If all of that is as it sounds, we're f*cked already. Didnt Flabio say the other day about "keeping all the good players we've got"? If we don't strengthen the team we have no chance of staying up, and Warnock will not see out the season. I'm not normally so negative, but as someone said, if NW is saying that publically (not rumour or some journo's spin on a couple of comments) then we're bang in trouble. Unless it's all mind games and we suddenly sign a coupla mega-stars by keeping off the radar

Yes, he said all those things, I totally agree. It's more about the way he was talking, he did not sound excited at all and the 'vote of confidence' from BE did not sound convincing at all. I'm normally very optimistic about things and will put a positive spin on anything QPR, but NW did sound deflated.

Well, since posting that I've seen rblockells totally different take on the same interview, maybe we have our own "spinners" to take quotes selectively to reinforce their own views. So now I'm none the wiser, not having heard the interview
