Agree with Swede here...he is finished at PL level. Went from starting in AV, to being benched by Heskey to filing the bench at Stoke. Usually he has ONE good season when joining a new club but that seem to be so looooong ago. Would start HH any day of the week ahead of Carew.

Carew was a very good player. Keyword, though...'was'. He was pretty awful last season, and I feel he'll only be looking for that last pay day. I'd genuinely rather keep HH for that role. He had a fantastic season with us, and I believe he'll offer more than Carew next season.Your mum would love me...

well, if you look at jethros avatar,you can see carew was once one of my favourite players in the prem he used to average 14 goals a season and he was kind of a poor mans ferdinand
but sadly now carew is a complete physical wreck,but much more seriously
he has reached the age of 33 and hes finished he is only worth a short loan
but hes is absolutely crap now and if he p0layed a full season would only score about 5 goals hes another hulse
so no thank you
