Embarrassing. Premiership should mean Premiership players. Lovely bloke, but a sh1t footballer. Good to see our increased season ticket money is being put to good use.

Its not impatience. How about we don't give him a new contract and lower the season ticket prices instead. 10k a week on a years contract would a save 1/2million quid which can go in reducing season tickets.

He couldn't hack it in the Championship so its a great idea to give him one in the premiership.

Still, has to be said, he is a top bloke but that counts for very little in the field of play.

Personally glad to hear this. Don't care if the man never plays once for us. Has shown a top class attitude on & off the pitch even though he was nominated boo boy before his injury.

I agree not the best but deserves this. After all the absolutely ridiculous contracts given out over the last few years Vine & Aggy to name just two this one won't bother me in the slightest.

Good CB in my opinion. Terrible RB, though. Pleased he's been given a chance as he deserves it. I've always been a fan of MC, but I'd have Rambo over him and Gorkss. One, if not both of those will be shown the door this summer.

Laughable. Those 2 were the bedrock of our defence last season.

Ramage has played about 7/8 games at centre half and has done ok, but not good enough for the Premiership. At least when we're in the top flight we'll need players who can play in a few positions and MC is the only defender we have who can play right back, left back or centre back. Gorks can only play centre back. Orr only right back and Hill can do a job at centre half as well as left back for a short term measure. Get over Ramage, we can do so much better. Send him back up north to somewhere like Hartlepool.

Behave. Just because you don't like the bloke, doesn't mean we've all got to agree, Dave. You have your opinion, and I'll have mine.

With all due respect, I'm sure Neil knows more about player ability than any of us, bar Clarke of course(who he openly admitted was a gamble). If he feels it's right, then who are we to argue?

As I say, I've always been a massive fan of MC, but he's looked a little less than able lately. Gorkss is someone who I feel has always been over rated, just like Stewart.

You need to remember...The calibre of striker they'll all face next season will be far better. I just can't see those two being able to cope. I hope I'm wrong, especially on MC's behalf, but it's the way I see it mate. At least Hill and Ramage will cope with the physical side of the Prem forwards.

Am sure most of you are top blokes. But that does not mean i want to pay each week to see you get rings run round you in the Premiership. This level you need better players than Ramage in defence if you are to compete.

If you love Cook, Rowlands and Ramage etc and think they should play every week because they " Love QPR and are top blokes " then i suggest you go out and buy the game Football manager 2011 where you can play them every week

But this is the Premiership. Sentiment has to be replaced by the best players available to the club.
