No need to use Pete to post, set up a new username and post under that.
Just 1 post and need never be used again.
Then why would Pete agree to post, if as previously stated, he 100% knows Amit will not return and Mittal unlikely to return with a new offer.
Unless of course Pete, you know more than your letting on ?
Gowan, spill the beans or at least say why Amit wont be back (did he tell you that ? Am I close ?)
Mittal may be a shrewd businessman, but so is Bernie.
Not so much Flavio, who only plays and risks other peoples money (IMO)
This will run for months.

Pete,
as i said on a previous thread, as i understand Bernie's and Flavios shares were close to being sold last season to the Kingfisher group to work with the Mittals but due to Flavio's investigation this put a stop to this, with this kind of stuff going around it hardly makes the club up for grabs does it?
This info is via MoonSafari who i trust and have known for many years.
it would be sensible to back of at that point, after cheating in f1, and as it was Flavio who had been involved day to day with qpr at that point, Mittal Senior could be worried about his own reputation.
Other people have also posted that Bernie only took on Flavios shares to stop the league and FA giving us a hard time after the F1 cheat ban incident.
Bernie didnt do anything special last season, the bookies made us odds on in september, so it was risk worth taking to get involved make sure we see it over the finishing line and then cash in on his investment, your making him out to be God.
I also understand via Moon that Mittals did fund a lot of the January activity.

I posted last week and I maintain what I said. What's currently going on is classic boardroom chess. The Mittal's will return with a further offer to buy the club and I won't be worried about them ending their interest in a buyout unless they sell their shares. I find it difficult how one can say he step's down because he feel's he can't work with other board members, yet still maintain his 33% stake - Sorry but that doesn't work in business. One is using the media to say the offer is insulting obviously because he wants to sell and get the best price and the other is using the media to build up support, effectively creating an us and them scenario, trying to gain control for a little as possible. I don't blame either side really and they say you should never mix business with friendship.
What I do feel though that people forget is that we are in the hands of very powerful people, astute businessmen who very rarely fail. There are not many clubs in the Premiership who (and I am presuming this will happen) have a balance sheet showing in the black and no longer £33 million in debt. It's not ideal and we had our fairshare of bad publicity over the years but I think we are still in good hands either way.
