    What was higher before Pete?

I'm not being funny, it's irrelevant who paid last weeks bonus's it won't be a gift and the club can now afford it so they will get it back as soon as they sell up or as soon as the premiership revenues come in.

Last week Players did indeed get there bonuses for winning promotion and even though the report was biased on official it is true that Bernie and Flavio only paid that.

Pete any inkling at all who is interested in buying the club, really hope its not more f1 people, really had a gutfull of that type.

Pete is right that it does take time and fans expecting firm answers by tea-time are unrealistic. However, given the current board's apparent reluctance to spend significant amounts to improve what is in many ways a poor squad will mean they will have to move fairly quickly - a club can be all but down by Christmas and if that were to happen the value of their asset would fall like John Prescott dropped from a great height. QPR is probably at its optimum value now, before a ball has been kicked and the limitations of Derry, Hill, Orr, Helguson, Smith, Gorks etc are exposed in the Premiership.

Interesting point Stainrod, but they have and NW have gone on record as saying the players have been identified to make it a successful season, they are businessmen, optimum value could be Into the season if we are comfortably out of the bottom 6!

Our worth is allmost impossible to evaluate as a business

Think it all depends on your definition of "successful". Think Flavio used the word "competitive". Just not sure the rumoured 10m is enough to keep us out of the bottom six, perhaps not even out of the bottom three.

10m I don't believe, that spoke about 15k caps too, we all know we pay more than that now!

I think the strategy they implement will be enough to keep us comfortable then if we sell before Xmas just before the new window, we are worth even more but how you can measure that Is a hard task!

Our incoming revenues look to be high, attendances may be 1 third lower than likes of Stoke and fulham but with ticket prices over one third higher and better sponsorship deals there is no excuse for us not to compete!

For sure they will make a huge return after almost ruining our club forever!

They would need to spend a lot more than £10M to make the squad competitive for the PL, unless they plan on persuading a number of good out of contract players to join QPR i.e Larsson, Carew, Gudjohnson and some top players from mainland Europe who fancy a new challenge. They might also look to bring in some on season long loans.

Singing Ranger: I also hope they spend money but in fairness I don't think Flavio or Bernie will be taking money out of the club. Even that £40m from Sky doesn't go as far as you'd think when you have to pay a squad of 25 some 20 odd grand a week. I know everyone is mightily fed up with them - understandably so - but lets not forget that hardly any football clubs make any money.

Stan: I agree 10m might not be enough to make us competititve but Pete - who tends to put a positive spin on club spending - is predicting only five million. Loans and freebies is my prediction with maybe a couple of so so buys such as Graham.

Vanhoop: would love Chamak but fear we will have to lower our sights.

No disrespect intended, but why on earth would the brains behind the Mittal business empire divulge their intentions lock stock to Pete, who they know runs a message board.

I'm sure they have drip fed some offerings as things stand at this time, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if these "facts" deviated somewhat in the future....

Stainrod, agree mate wouldn't expect them to take money out other than there debts, maybe they won't take these out until the sale!

David Mac has said he thinks Mittals are interested but is unlikely so similar to Pete, David Mac says on twitter it was never a strong possibility but that's different to his own views a couple of weeks ago so it seems something has changed somewhere.

smudge on twitter says he Is trying to get some info on the Mittals from Dubai - I hope Thats not from our Dubai supporters group (joke) as that is based on the message boards
