I cant imagine we will get a big name like Crouch at Loftus Road this season..BUT!! I do remember the Sky Sports camera catching him on camera in the crowd when we played one of our home games a month or so ago. Not sure if it was the Derby game or Sheffield United one.. I wonder why he was there watching us. Soft spot for us since he played for us before perhaps?????

Saw a friend a couple of weeks back who showed me pics of himself, his lad and his missus with Peter Crouch.

They were in Halfords getting child seats fitted to their car and Crouchy turned up next to them to also get seats fitted to 3 cars.
He had a couple of Drivers follow him there to do all 3 vehicles

Anyway my mates lad is a big footy fan and recognised him straight away and asked if he could have a pic.
Crouch was happy to do so and my mate also had his pic taken and got his wife to have one too. A funny pic as she is barely 5 feet tall.

When the pics were all done my mates lad asked Crouchy "what team do you support"? to which his reply was "Truthfully ? _ QPR." at which point my mates lad went off the radar as himself and Dad are also Rangers.

No bulls poo, seen the pics myself and my mate is no liar.

Ok, firstly I am NOT itk and never will be! But my mate text me earlier saying Crouch has signed for us and waiting for july to be announced. Now my mate has heard this from his friend who is a coach at spurs. (a mate of a mate yeh yeh!!) Now I'm not even sure I believe him, would be a dream signing and I cant see us making one of those even though Crouchy is a fan and I could imagine him taking a paycut to join us. But surely he would cost in the region of £7million, maybe £5mil but still that is A LOT of money for us to spend on 1 player. Just passing on what I have heard

unfortunately its not gonna happen. If they were gonna spend some serious money they wouldn't have made such a big rise in st prices. The amount of money gained by promotion and future parachute payments is massive. Its clear this is gonna go straight to our owners they're far more interested in making as much money as possible out of qpr and aren't that bothered about the football side of the business. Expect some free signings and maybe one 2 million pound player to be signed. I'd eat my hat if we spent 7 million on one player. Never gonna happen

pete has a girlfriend who lives somewhere near addlestone,he often drinks in the crouch oak pub and talks to everyone all the time,hes a very nice man but when i asked him about a qpr return he made it clear that his wages atre so high that it would not be possible

i have no idea what hes wages are because i felt that it was too personel to ask,but im assuming its a fortune dont forget crouch and defoe are both currently in the england squad and the two of them would be worth 20 million
im guessing but

anyway peter said that a qpr return would be impossible so unless he was told to say that then i just dont know what to say

Correct, I know the family well and he used to have a season ticket with his old man at Chelsea when he was younger. Not to say he hasn't a soft spot for us but Chelsea were always his team.
