yeah it will be used by sir neil in the transfer market.
the less you buy, the less cash he has to spend on players.
    Welcome to Football.
No wonder Sir Pie Chucker is on hiatus,

I have to be honest and say that the prices are not too bad considering the opposition and the players we will get to see and luckily I can afford to renew my Silver seat though I will wait until the last possible moment to do so

But....what a gamble we are taking buy pricing out our loyal fans who only want to pay on the day and even those tourists who just fancy a day at the football as they will never forget how they were shafted and if we were to go down how much could or would the club cut prices?

Can't disagree with much of that at all.

For me, it's not just a case of WHAT they decide to do in terms of pricing, more about HOW they go about it. As if absolutely no consideration has been given to the many fans that either buy ST's, or pay as they go if circumstances dictate.

No "unfortunately", "sadly", "with regret" or any other words that would suggest that they even give a t0ss. I'm sure a lot of things can be forgiven, even if not agreed with, if put across in the right way.

The problem is though in my humble opinion at least is that none of the board pr employees over the years and I include Gianni and Ali Russell in that sweeping statement at this or any other club have had to make financial decisions on weather they can afford a ticket or not as their whole life in football has revolved around getting tickets as perks pf the job or complimentarys at away games so they have absolutely no idea how it is in the real world when those not as wealthy as them have household and personal budgets to fulfil before even considering popping along to watch a game of football

Completely out of touch the lot of them

Very true, as a fan who couldn't commit to buying a season ticket purely for work commitments i now very much doubt if i will go much next season and once the buzz has gone it will be difficult to get it back !!!!!!!
Oh well there'll be loads of tickets available for West Ham games in a couple of years

If those are to be the prices for walkup matchday i can honestly say i wont be going next season. Ill do my share of awaydays but unless we do some serious business in the market to justify those prices ill be giving the LR a swerve.

Very much so. Sadly though, there will be those "non fans", who will be able and happy to pay. God only knows what that will do for the atmosphere.

The whole thing has put a dampener on next season and the future as a whole for me.

The reality of the situation probably won't hit home until we hear people asking for Gin & Tonics and Rose wines during the pre match drinks.
