  • Is anyone else wondering?

How much of an effect this whole BE, FB vs The Mittals mess is having on Neil Warnock getting in his transfer targets!?

Depending on which party are in control does the budget for transfers change?

Does this whole situation have to be solved before we can actually sign anyone!?..

He can hardly ring around clubs and say " err yeah we'll sort the money out later when i know if ive got it to spend"..

Trouble is, if a player is wanted by us and someone else, he's going to look at us and think "Not likely, mate" at the moment.

The sooner we have some stability and are no longer the talk of all the sports shows, the better.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

      I agree with Swanley.

The sooner those rich idiots sort themselves out, the better.

If I was a player considering signing for QPR, I wouldn't care less if it was Ecclestone or Mittal owning the club - they are both muliti billionaires and I would be perfectly happy with any of them. Both set of owners have publicly issued support for Warnock, so whoever gets full control won't matter in terms of who would become my manager. I therefore can't see the present price negotiations hampering any deals.

Moreover, I think the player budget is decided a few weeks ago, and Warnock has the support he needs right now for going after the agreed targets. Nothing has changed in terms of ownership during this week, so why should player budgets be affected by Amit and Saksena leaving? They were ultimately not the decision makers.

The budget mighted be upped if Mittal takes over - I have a feeling he is willing to back the club more in terms of financial support than Bernie, provided he become majority shareholder. However, I suspect any takeover take some time. Such price discussions normally take some time to mature. The initial heat of this weeks clash has to go way, a few meetings needs to be held to sort of the respective views, a counter offer from Bernie has to be put on the table, some considerations have to be made and finally a deal will be struck during the course of next season, I guess. However, I am a 100% not-ITK, so my views are simply just based on normal common sense. While all this goes on I will sit back and relax and just enjoy being in the Premier League and seeing two billionaires fighting over who will own my club. What a luxury situation we are in, just a few years after being a 3rd division club in administration.

Oslo, you are far too logical and articulate for this place.
Common sense was thrown out the window a long long time ago
the people here prefer widespread panic, it is their raison d'etre..
Good to have you on board, though, you are a breath of fresh air.

If the player gets the right deal, it will be fine, players aren't that intelligent in most cases and agents only care about money.

I don't expect it to impact Warnocks plans as he prob only sees himself in 2 years and if he gets the players he wants feels confident for mid table, and a cup run, but I think deep down, he would love to work with the Mittals!
