Nobody's too good for Queen's Park Rangers, least of all Bassong.
He's good enough for a top 6 team, do you agree?
He was a regular starter at Tottenham and played in the Champions league.
Not a low opinion atall as far as i can see.

I am being realistic, Bassong should/is a realistic target for QPR.
If every player who ever played a champions league game for their club was out of bounds to QPR, I'd give up watching football in this country altogether.
We can, and indeed should have, a squad more than capable of holding it's own in the premier league once the new season kicks off.
If we don't, then we're just another Blackpool, but with loads more money, and how ridiculous would we look then, eh?
If you are going to be a regular visitor to Loftus Rd next season, then you have every right to expect that enough investment has been made in the 1st team squad to enable successful bedding in, God knows you'll be paying enough at the gate.

You can expect what you like mate but we are now being linked with a freeibie who is always injured from Forest, Lee Bowyer and a striker in Beatie who has scarcely scored a goal since tellies went Technicolor - I'd love a player like this too but it ain't going to happen. All you will do expecting otherwise is make yourself unhappy.

We are looking at Championship Bosmans, unless there is a dramatic change in the boardroom we aren't going to be looking at footballers who have played Champions League.
I will say this though, and I admit the thought has just this minute occured to me, but perhaps we won't be enamoured about who NW wants, and to my mind this is the important point, as long as whoever comes in, is what Neil Warnock has asked for, I will be satisfied, as I do trust NW.
I just hope that at some point, Neil Warnock makes it clear to one and all, that the players who come in, are definately the ones he wanted, and not just because they were cheap.

Well Warno is a professional and as long as he stays manager he is going to say he backs the players he has. But one of the reasons why, I suspect, he took so much satisfaction about last season was he knows he did it despite more than because of the board - they didn't really back him. He will buy the players he can with the dosh available. Am sure like you and me he would dearly love to have Basong or someone of similar ability but he will probably have to settle for a lot, lot less. Am sure he will make the very best of whatever he is given - but IF the rumours are true about budgets I think we will struggle to finish above anyone apart from the the two other promoted teams.
