Carew would be a great signing

I am a QPR supporter from Norway, and have obviously followed Carew closely as he is one of the few Norwegian players we have in UK right now (Hangeland, Pedersen, until recently Riise being the others worth mentioning - you probably noticed I didn't mention PVM, as he has a lot to prove in UK first). My take on Carew is that the best years are behind him. I afraid he is lazy, and he has a long track record of being injury prone. I think we can do much better than Carew - hardly able to score more than 5-8 goals a season any longer. He didn't do too well for Stoke, did he?
