  • On Line Petition

    Hi Guys,

I can see that you have your own in house petiton going. I can't see any reference to the on-line petition we have set up.

    The wording is as follows

We, the undersigned, want to register our disgust at the way that the current board are running our football club, Queens Park Rangers. We demand that the board

    1) reappoint Ishan Saksena,
    2) ask Amit Bhatia to rejoin the board,
    3) re-open negotiations with Laksmhi Mittal regarding the sale of the club,
    4) reduce the massive rise in ticket prices.

Please come and add your voices to ours - we are up to 212 as I write.

Sorry if the link does not automaticallt take you to the petition, I don't know the requirements for your forum

We all are fighting in a common cause.

    Thanks

Stanley, the link does work, but the petitononline website is not coping. If you google QPR Petition you get the same problem. Please try later.

As for the username Jon, it has summed up QPR for years but never more so than recently. At what other club would you get the last few weeks we've all just been through?

I don't understand all this love for amit or saksena, and I am half Indian, please they care more about cricket and exploiting cheap labour than they do about football and qpr fans. He might say he disagrees with ST and Match day prices, but can you guarantee he won't raise it if QPR stays in the premiership? Throw him out, get an arab who will pump 150 million pound in. Are you telling me that it is impossible for Rangers to get another backer apart from the Mittals and Bhatia? Where do you get that idea? A guy from Hong Kong bought birmingham, true they went down, but it wasn't the chinaman's fault, just that McLeish is a *****. Yes they won the league Cup, too, so a chinaman has last year's league cup and sees Brum in Europe. Didn't an Arab buy Racing Santander? if Santander can attract buyers, I am sure poor lil qpr can attract buyers.

I don't think that anyone looks upon the Mittal's as the Missiahs, but they did bring stability to the club. Let's face it, this season's end of year bash, was the first one for some time where there wasn't a manager of the year award! Obviously they are tough businessmen, but they appear to want to run the club properly. It may be a case of "out of the frying pan, into the fire", who knows, but I'd be happier going forwards with them.

Any way the website hosting the petition is still causing problems (why would we expect anything different where QPR are involved). Thanks to those who signed. I'll return to my own forum. Cheers and Come on You RRRRRRRs

                    Best of luck with it.

Not sure The Mittals brought stability to the club, but I do wish they were in charge for next season.

last season, the person that brought stability financially was actually believe it or not a self announced Chelsea fan called Bernie Ecclestone.

The man who done it on the ptich with enormous credit was Neil WArnock

You do come across as a Bernie fan Pete. Maybe he has put his hands in his pockets more than the mittals but I do think if the mittals owned the club outright you would see stability and a decent budget. I still don't think Warnock gets the backing that recent reports suggest. I think the mittals are more down to earth and I think deep down Warnock is as gutted as we are.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

you are making assumptions about how warnock feels, Neil has seen owners, chairmen, board members and tea ladies come and go in 20 years of management, you think an old pro like him can't handle this? You might be right, he might like Amit, but I am sure Sir Neil has seen a lot of people he likes leave clubs he managed all the time..to say he is 'gutted' is pushing it.

I know I said I was going, but what the hell. The petition website does appear to be working properly again now, so if any of you wanted to sign but were unable, you should be abe to now. Thanks
