  • Interesting Comments From Mittal Around 6 weeks Ago..Anyone Thinking of Protesting

This is just his views and I think you might find that any kind of protesting will go against us.

We all want Amit and Mittal to have overall control of the club, but it has to be done ina professional business manner, though what fans quite expect if Mittal did take over is beyond me. Appreciation of fans YES, good rapport with fans YES, better for the club YES..but we won't suddenly see millions being spent

Amit came to me and said, 'Flavio has stepped down and the club is in trouble.' I felt we should get out. I did not like the family to be in that negative news which was being thrown around Flavio and his past.
Mittal's words do not suggest Abramovich-style spending but then, for Lakshmi Mittal, "Football is not business, it is entertainment."
On coming to London, his first club was Chelsea. The Mittals had a box there which they gave up when they bought into QPR. Talking of Abramovich, Lakshmi says, "I know Roman because he is also in the steel business." But he is quick to emphasise that his feel for football is different. "For Roman, Chelsea is his personal passion. I am a fan of QPR but I will not have that kind of passion which you see in Roman. I am passionate about my business."

"I think so because it is a big responsibility. You have to live up to the Premier League." But then he adds, "But there are some clubs who like to have a big budget. There are other clubs who can do a good job with limited budgets but higher productivity."

I want Amit and Mittal in charge but they are business people capable of thrashing out a deal in a civilised manner.

Bernie and Flavio will be in Monaco this weekend, so nothing will happen for a few days.

You can see certain chess moves being played out and its not the end of it, simply because Amit has relinquished his role on the board.

He has stated he wants to keep the 33% and appoint someone to look after there interest. (guess depends on who that is)

Honestly think it can go either way.

If you asked me for a gut feeling, think we might be stuck with Bernie and Fl;avio for the immediate future. Not based on anything just my opinion.

How much has the russian poured into chelsea, around 700mill.

I would expect no owner to put nowhere near a fraction of that into QPR, weather they are Mittals or anybody else.
        They seek him here.................

I can't work out Pete who you are throwing you're support behind at present ....is it wide off the mark to suggest Gianni is still sitting on fence and hasn't worked out which side he stands the best chance of keeping his job with???

Going on what Pete says and the way he says it, IMO he wants Flabio and the dwarf to continue running the club and would like Amit to stay in some role. The nightmare scenario for Pete would be the Mittals running the show with Ishan and no input from little and large.

Having read the entire interview myself rather pulling selective quotes from it, What Mittal made clear was that they were prepared to walk away because of the bad pr, (As they have just done so they are not tarnished with the PR) The PR is very very important to them (so negligent employees I would assume dont go down very well, hence your blatent campaign)

In addition he also makes clear that he does not see QPR as a business. He's not in it to make money, to make a land deal etc.

Naughty, naughty, if I was Gianni I would do just that, because this isnt finished, that said if as reported the Mittals wanted Gianni of the board because of the results of the FA hearing, then I can only summise that he now knows which side of the fence he is on.

I dont think they would get rid of him unfortunately, but he is perfect for a meet and greet role for the Executive boxes and C-Club.

Off course he doesn't and its really good to see newbie posters seeing through this as well.

Obviously Team Amit is not beneficial to certain individuals!
