  • Mittals still in battle to attempt takeover?

    I wouldn't normally post tweets, but Paul Smith was pretty accurate last time.

    @Smudge1962 Paul Smith

    Boardroom battle to take place at QPR with the Mittal's attempting to gain complete control of the club

      come back with a better offer if you really want to take over qpr.
      and if you win, give warnock 40 million pound, please.

          If there are further indications that this is true then fans must hold back on their renewals if they weren't already.

          I suggested this earlier on Singing Rangers thread.

          - The Mittals walk away on a matter of principal as takeover talks end and there are disagreements on ticket prices.
          - They unite the fan base behind them firtsly because we all think BE & FB are ***** and secondly because we want them in for being decent people with integrity (and loads of money)
          - The media outcry ensues, fans groups gather and consult and discuss possible protests.
          Season ticket renewals are slow, so slow in fact it forces BE to consider his valuation of the club.
          - The F1 boys realise this football lark is not helping them win many friends, they have angered the fan base beyond belief of whom will potentially vote with their feet.
          - Mittals up their offer but not dramatically and the club is sold.

          **Also lets not forget all the hardwork QBP has been doing behind the scenes to save the club!!!

          The whole thing could potentially be a clever ploy by the Mittals carefully orchestrated to sieze control with their popularity sky high....or it could be load of bollocs, we live in hope!!!

              It is for this reason that I haven't renewed (yet). I still think they will have to back down over the prices, we are a laughing stock again!

                        Well if by some miracle ST prices will be reviewed obviously refunds will be involved for those who've already renewed. Sounds a little messy...

                            Despite claiming they have pulled out of a potential buy-out, the Mittal's are continuing to pursue attempts to gain control of the club
