How long before we hear "things change in football" bla bla " the lure of the north East too much for us to compete with" (used to be the liure of the Prem bla bla).
Then another name will be thrown in e.g. Long with the usual belnd of etc etc

First of all I do not know pete at all, but things do change in football. Few people I know work on shows which have lots of VIP guest (footballers) and they have sworn blind they are going to a club and then gone elsewhere. Not always their decision. Pete is being told info and giving it to us as we are desperate to hear something. People beg! He proba should no say done deal! But 1 thing I did ask pete about was the fa case a month before the hearing and he told me the outcome and it was the same with what came out.

True but as you say perhaps choose words more carefully - "potentially" instead of "done"

Agree - always defend Pete for giving us the info that afterall we are all after but have also said many times before much better to say we are "interested in" or "are pursuing" rather than "we've signed" or "its a done deal". That way no one can complain when it inevitably goes Pete Tong (or maybe just Pete...).

If so Pete just find it incredible the club have not announced it - the QPR brand is being trashed in media around the world and even if Bernie and Flavio don't care about the fans they should care about reputations. Releasing news of Graham's signing would be an obvious way of drawing some heat from the situation. Can't believe the press office etc are that stupid not to see it. Only poss reason for delay has to be that he hasn't actually put pen to paper - surely?

Also don't understand why a player who could move anywhere within reason would choose to move 3 miles from Heathrow just to be near the training ground. I work in Surrey Quays and live over an hour away is essex - its not far away enough in my book!
