Perfect news for me. A top notch guy who apparently works hard on the charity front when out injured.

Decent in a CB position and a top pro. I guess Warnock gave this offer a go-ahead as well!

Can you ask for more really?

I like him.Had a chat with him on the sidelines at a game while a player was being treated.Comes across as down to earth.

He's a CB not a RB and seemed to do a good job in the few games he played at that position.

Warnock got the best out of Helgusson

Cannot see why he cannot do the same with Rambo

Ramage is a top bloke, and is never short of commitment, but lets face it, hes hopeless. If anyone seriously thinks hes up to premiership standard, they clearly dont have a clue. Ok, he improved a bit at centre back - but still very little ability. If you cant place a simple pass straight, then you shouldnt even be considered at this level

i gotta disagree pete unfortunately. I completely see what u r saying, but to me helguson already had ability, the goals just werent falling for him and team morale was very low. Ramage clearly just doesnt have natural ability imo

The way he pulled out of that tackle for Leeds second goal a few weeks back? yes I'm surprised. Anyone who plays football on here will understand.

Another kick in the teeth for us having to fork out all this money. For top money you expect a top product. Ramage is a very nice bloke but as a footballer I don't rate him. Not good enough for the Championship and certainly not good enough for the Premiership. A real sad day to be an R.

Been a scapegoat since day one.

Actually a decent player who already has 3 years worth of experience playing at the top level. Not a world beater but as back up he's a much better and safer option than Sh*ttu.

I really don't rate ramage seeing him play right back all season and can't even pick a pass and got skinned by the other sides left back to often .! Ok here prefers cb but this guy is not premiership
