Why would any big manager want to become the manager of QPR!? Just because Flavio and Gianni are italian, and so is Lippi and Ancelotti that doesnt mean anything!! Does anyone honestly believe our board are going to splash the cash and buy big name players on huge wages!? Because these top managers will only work with big transfer budgets! Top managers wont want to put their repuatation or C.V on the line to work with players who are unheard of in world football.
Even if our owners are willing to spalsh the cash, do you really think big name players would like the idea of coming in to train every day with training facilities and a stadium below Premier League and probably even Championship standard!? It aint happening! A manager like Warnock and players like Taarabt are as good as it gets for now. Maybe we will be lucky enough to attract an experienced PL player in his 30s such as Robbie Keane or whoever for this coming season.
Ok, were now a PL club, but weve got years to go before we can start bringing in top players. If our owners are serious about all these big names, then first of all they need to invest in the facilities at our club and our stadium. Weve got such a long way to go!! Rich owned clubs like Man City and Chelsea get these big names because they already had world class facilities and quality stadiums before these rich guys arrived.
