We all know that to stay in the prem the club can't stand still. Sentiment in football gets you know where, where as we all know Neil Warnock has done a fantastic job in starting the club moving forward and getting the club up, with Briatore in charge, it was never going to be Neil in charge in the prem. And if we are to be totally honest with ourselves , a Ancelotti or a Ranieri in charge with a bigger budget must be a step forward. This is not at all meant as a dig at Warnock or his ability as a manager, but to move on i think the club has to act now and make a decision before the season starts, and not after 6 games with a squad the new manager doesn't want.

I cant see Flavio and Bernie backing Warnock with cash because it wasnt there idea to appoint him in the first place. They probably never knew who he even was because after all they know nothing about football. I can only see them back a manager they choose to appoint unfortunately. And even then I really dont imagine they will spend more than £3 million on a playerComment

Entitled to opinions etc.. but it's just wrong to even talk like that.

Personally I disagree. I think they will stick with warnock... Well to Christmas at least.
Briatore appointed a host of managers who couldn't do the business... Warnock did!!
Either way they are not going to spend much on transfers, so do they bring in a manager who is used to big budgets and top players? Or stick with a manager who will spend wisely and get the very best out of average players.
They are not stupid and they know warnock is the man to stick with - however they will want to stay in the premiership and will react if we are bottom come January.Comment

It's not sentiment. Warnock has done a fantastic job and I for one trust his judgement to bring in the players we need. Show some respect and be thankful for the wonderful season he and his players have given us.Comment

As ive said not anti Warnock at all, but you must admit, if you look at it with sentiment aside , the names touted around with substantial backing are a step up and a message to fans and the prem league that we don't just want a survival season but we aim to compete.Comment

That's his weakness. He needs Ecclestone. And Ecclestone has played his part before in slapping FB down before, when needed.

Ecclestone is not daft, and nobodies fool.
They are friends, yes. But I honestly believe that Ecclestone deliberately plays down his power and interest in QPR, and HE holds the real power at QPR. Not Briatore. Not anymore.
FB has had his income massively slashed by the F1 episode and the economic crisis, had his nose bloodied, and has HAD to become less "hands on".
Money talks, and FB's money doesn't shout as loudly as it used to. Ecclestone dwarfs him. (how ironic!)

Can't see Warnock staying. He will likely leave of his own free will now. I give it a week, maybe 10 days at most. Then we'll probably appoint some unheard of Italian Serie B assistant coach.Comment
