  • Is it possible this is one last throw of the dice from the Mittals

    1) I don't think think Amit would have walked, without the ok from above, is it possible that this is one last attempt to see a) how much we want them and to b) show the other 2 that they are not to be messed about.

Pete on numerous occasions over the last 6 months you have said how it's Bernie and Flavio we owe for taking us up and investing.

This is a no brainer from their side and doesn't make them heroes, between them they own the majority, from end of September we were odds on to go up, this is the same time as I understand they got involved again, why? Because finally they could see a return on investment! So wanted to make sure it happened.

The Mittals can't control much with 30 something percent so why should they spend vast amounts on an investment they have no real say in and why should they pay over the odds for QPR? We love rangers but what makes us better than an existing premiership .

I think the Mittals would invest if they had control but gained control at the right price.

We are in a worse place without Amit, he brought NW to the club and gave us a stable platform as well as a relationship with the fans!

I dont mind Bernie too much but he's a chelsum fan and has no interest in us, I can't begin to describe feelings for the other prik but I think pete you are giving them too much credit.

Is this a ploy from the Mittals I hope so, is there any news on selling their shares? I prey not

I think you're right. I really do see the mittals buying Bernie out by the start of the season. Both parties must be way off with their valuations of the club for it to come to this though.

Who else will Bernie sell to? He's 80 odd years old, is a Chelsea fan and has no passion for rangers. Why stay?

Also season tickets will be seen as a FB and BE idea when the mittals take over. Itll be too late to change and seen as heroes for buying out the other 2. therell be onto a winner

Singing Ranger the thought has crossed my mind.

Resign, get 100% backing from fans, then launch a very hostile bid with everyone united behind it. Uproar amongst fans could end up driving the valuation of the club down...Amit has made the point that the Mittals will be holding onto their stake...

            We live in hope!

I do think they will make another attempt to takeover the club. If he really wanted a fresh start, maybe look at buying another club then he would of wanted to sell his 33% shares, he hasn't and that for me is a sign that he wants to keep 1 foot in the club.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

W12 I've missed that bit, has he said they are not selling? If true that's encouraging.

I'm not sure if this is my heart ruling my mind! interesting point though

Yes he stated they are keeping they're shares and will be 'appointing a member to the board to look after they're interests'

Im just praying that Mallya and Mittal take over the club and this is all one big plan to get the fans on side.

Personally I think the Premiership cash cow is why BE & FB are digging their heels in, Flavio was meant to be gone a year ago ffs.. He's going nowhere now the big dollars & the bright lights are in sight.
