If the Mittals really had their heart in it they would have bought the club. A smile and warm words don't cut it for me.

      Totally wrong.

if you get a chance, ask Warnock who he has been working with over last few months.

Number 1 answer would be Flavio Briatore

Number 2 would be Bernie Ecclestone

      That is a fact..........
You cannot go around saying stuff like this! It is not a fact!

The Paladini factor doesn't really come into the current situation, because he and Warnock are the two that brought the players in this season. Unless you are sAYING Amit has an eye for a player

I didn't say who Warnock has been working with. Read my post again. I said that Amit and Saskena brought Warnock in 14 months ago - or do you deny that? Before that we had a continual succession of useless managers brought in by Briatore or Paladini, no stability and close to relegation.

Why should they pay double what the Club is worth? They want to invest their money in the Club, not give it to Ecclestone. They can afford to wait.

I dare not say who brough Warnock in first...

Of course Ishan and Amit take tremendous credit for gettting Warnock contracted to the club, doubt he would have come otherwise. no doubt he got assurances that he would get no interference. Its only in the last few months more input has come from Flavio and bernie

Interviews... the face of the media... keeping them all sweet. Warnock plays the game.

Warnock always says one thing to the media and then another behind closed doors... a very simple example being after the Hull game when he was livid and furious with the team, but praised them in the press conference.

As for season ticket prices they are well over the top, but they know supporters will find the money after the hyseria dies down. Last season many did not renew for the same reason only to come back after Christmas.

I'm not saying its right, but reality is prices have been set and no kind of protests will get them changed.

I'd guess many have already re-newed today for example
Reality is, prices aren't the most important thing here, the individuals running the club and the manner in which they run it are. You know what's coming here as well as everyone else, a matter of time before Warnock goes and the circus recommences. If we are relegated, what next? Where will the owners find money to fund the business? What interest will the owners have in returning to exciting fixtures against Donny and Scunny, and more importantly, what interest will their tourist friends have in paying to watch? At what stage, if ever, will YOU say "enough is enough, I as a fan am making a stand on behalf of my club."?

We are going to have to disagree.

I don;t think the time for any protests is when we have just entered the premiership, without a ball being kicked.

Do agree season ticket prices are far too excessive and since the end of season, we the fans have been treated with the utmost contempt but the team must be given every chance to succeed.

just my view and don't expect many to agree.

I have stickied the LSA statement because I can see many agreeing with John's sentiments

If people aren't going to protest now then they never will.

As for affecting the team - that is irrelevant. We will be relegated next season because the board will simply not spend the money required to build a strong enough squad.

might not like them, but they are not stupid.

I'd imagine Warnock has his targets and they will be got.

It does not make business sense to get relegated

It doesn't make business sense to alienate 80% of your customers - but that
                            is what they are doing.

As does Lakshmi (NB spelling). He's an ex-footballer in fact who played for Calcutta and is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the game... a lot more than can be said for Flav and Bern.

                                Playing for Calcutta?

I'm not actually disagreeing with you, Ideal world Amit AND Mittal at the helm was the dream ticket.
