  • This is all the Mittal's fault

Why did they not buy Flabbio's shares when they had the chance.

secondly, they joined in the charade of allow us to believe that tango had left the party and they where more hands on, when in fact they where being used to pacify the natives until the true intentions of these grave robbers became apparent.

We need answers from them before we jump on the save us Mittal bandwagon.

I did think the other day that had they bid a reasonable amount, maybe the reported £35m they have now bid, back in January it would have been better received.

FB and BE would only sell if offered alot of money now we are in the Prem and this to the average man was always obvious

End of the day Amit is a peoples person.

Flavio and Bernie put there foots in it and look on everyday fans as purely punters. They treat it simply as a business.

Would say in their defence, they have put a good percentage of the money and backing this season

As much as I don't like these guys, shorty and flabby are correct, 35m isn't enough for the club and they where right to turn it down, double the offer or step away!

i understand Ecclestone been putting in £900k a month for the last 2 years to fund what the club loses every month. £35million i would turn that down as well, £100m is too much but £50m min i would say.
Amit has resigned because they lost their bid nothing to do with season ticket hike, that's my view anyway.

If Flavio and Bernie are bothered to defend themselves as to their attitude towards fans and their running of the club, let them do it and not you.

What I'm sure we'd all like to hear is what you think about the ticket pricing policy, about Bhatia's statement and about the findings of the FA Commission and in particluar their comments re Paladini. What you think about the idea of an anti-Flavio and Bernie demonstration and whether you'd take part. You know, the sort of stuff that fans might have an interest in hearing your opinion on.

To be fair, I'll tell you what I think. I think the club is more danger of being asset stripped than ever before. I think the majority shareholders, as Flavio and Bernie appear to prefer being called, couldn't give a rat's @$$ about the fans or the future health and wellbeing of the club. I think Rangers fans should use every opportunity that presents itself to show their disgust for what is happening and give it as much publicity as possible.

And I think if GP should be relieved of his duties as soon as is humanly possible. It only took the FA Commission a few days to work out what the majority of fans have known for a long time, that he is out of his depth and is doing more harm than good to the club.

                Over to you.

All I knew was that board meetings were happening last week, we now we see the outcome.

Would say surely Mittal buying the club would be small change, even if he gave the mantle to his son in law. The problem is Amit runs businesses away from QPR and it was probably decided the price for the club was not worth paying.

We pitch up on a matchday and see what we want to. I can catergorically say that Warnock has worked almost exclusively with Bernie and Flavio all season and reading between the lines thats why he says it been a very hard season.

It because we don;t know what goes on behind the scenes and I for one would love Amit to be running the club, but also realise if they really wanted to, it would not have been too much of a problem,

Do find the naivity of some fans hilarious. Of course the owners don't care about the fans, any more than the Glasiers care about Utd fans or Arsenal's board cares about theirs. Same at Liverpool and most other clubs you care to mention. Clubs like Wigan where a local man who has made it good and is in it for the love of the club is a real exception these days.

If the Mittels only offered £35m (no idea if that is true) then they only have themselves to blame. The obvious time to buy was earlier when we were still in the Championship. Bernie isn't a former second hand car salesman for nothing - he knows now the club has had a spit and polish and is standing on a smart forecourt he can ask a lot more for it. Football clubs are vanity projects for rich men and he clearly isn't desperate to sell so it was upto the Mittels to make him an offer he couldn't refuse.

                            They didn't.

BTW, don't quite understand the animosity towards Pete. Its not his fault. Some people just want someone - anyone - to lash out at.

                            Over to you.

What I want to know is why did they allow is to think the Mittals had or where going to take a more active role when in fact 1 1/2 men have been in charge all along.
