Matchday experience doesnt really come into it. It would only apply if there was a number of alternatives instead of going to qpr on a matchday. You can't switch clubs very easily. If we were a cinema and there were 12 other local cinemas each offering a better experience then that would be different.

I repeat:
At LR if youre 5'8" or above it is a very uncomfortable experience being literally squashed like sardines into a very tight space with zero leg room.
The club's statement about prices being in line with other London prem clubs is a red herring and an incorrect comparison for this very reason.
At all those other London clubs there is more leg room, less cramped concourses etc etc.Last edited by Stanley; 26-05-2011, 12:09 AM.

lets face it the ground is a shithole no matter how much white emulsion they splash in the bogs...the corporate side of it has had money spent on it but us peasants are still stuck with one of the worst matchday experiences in the top 2 leagues...but Flabio thinks he owns Chelsea and decides to whack 40% plus on the ticket price...lol what a twunt

So to sum up fans seem to want a squad of £30,000 a week players with fans paying no more than 30 quid a ticket and there being no more than 15,000 fans (because they also, according to one poster today, don't want to be sitting next to a - and I quote - "toffee nosed turd burglar.") Oh, and the club of their dreams would actually be run at a massive loss they don't want nasty billionares like Bernie running it - instead they want a nice person. Hmm.
You have to love some of our fans. Bet they also want to live in mansions but without going out to work...

small capacity, reduced by c-club etc
we have lost members bar in sar and now platinum in sar, no bar for season tkt holders in the main stand?? a 1st in club football!
don't forget the £90m from tv,revenue and sponsors...club could subsidise a tad more
add replica shirts will be around £50 too
fulham have 6 prices from £330-450 wigan from £350 man city £450 ( imagine that for nailed on top 4 slot and cup runs and champs lge/extra but still, a team of stars)

its true that basic economics does mean demand outstripping supply pushes prices up.The problem in comparing us to the likes of say,Arsenal,is,besides them having to pay off the loan for the stadium ,and a higher wage bill,is that they have 40k on a waiting list for season tickets.Their fans are therefore scared into renewing, coz if they dont, and lose thier seat, its to the back of the queue of 40k,and a possible lifetime without being able to get back into the Emirates
we do not have that...but it seems that Flavio and Bernie are under the impression that if we dont renew, there will be plenty who will...this is the mistake they are making..unless of course its true that they will sell off any unsold seats to ticket agencies to sell to PL tourists
