  • Transfer budget: £10m. Total wage bill per week: £300k

That is what Warnock will get to work with.

The prices announced today are nothing to do with making the team competitive. The remaining members of the board are happy to do the absolute bare minimum to attempt to keep the club in the league, while lining their own pockets in the process. There is a reason why these rich men remain rich. Many people have had their heads buried in the sand with regards to Briatore's business past - now you will begin to see why he invested in this club, and why Bernie 'I have no interest in football' Eccleston was happy to tag along. A big profit this year (healthy dividends) while being able to sell the club for more than it was bought for if relegated is the plan (staying up is a bonus, but delaying the inevitable).

My advice: DO NOT RENEW. Show the board they have to show some real intent if they expect fans to pay that sort of money, or sell up.

Hysterical reaction as with many fans.

Nearly all fans will either renew or buy on a game to game basis.Fans that leave were never loyal in the first place.

The Mail's story's about us are shockingly innacurate.

£300k/25 player squad = average of £12k per week...

considering we already have several players nearing £20k/week, it means any new signings will likely be on under £10k/week...

even Blackpool paid more than that. FACT.
