  • Matchday prices are......

    Platinum: £1370 over 19 games = £72.10

    Gold: £1085 over 19 games = £57.10

    Silver: £990 over 19 games = £52.10

    Bronze: £895 over 19 games = £47.10

All these are without a booking fee.

How can you justify these prices against the majority of Premiership teams?

    Bolton?
    Norwich?
    Wigan?
    Fulham?
    West Brom?
    Sunderland?
    Swansea/Reading?
    Newcastle?
    Aston Villa?
    Spurs?

The only teams you can charge big money for are:

    Man Utd
    Liverpool
    The Filth
    Arsenal

I feel embarrassed by all of this. We're a working class team from one of the poorest parts of the country.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

As i've said, i don't think the club have been completely honest with the 'matchday savings'!

The matchday savings would be based on Cat A games. There is no way the club will charge the same prices for Man U as they would for Wigan. The games will be broken down into 3 categories.

There will be outrage again when the club announce category status as people have not been told the truth when purchasing at ST.

Basically after taking so long to announce the prices, they've made a complete ####### of it!!

I have to say I am amazed, suprised and very disapointed that the club have done this.

If we can't compete price wise with clubs with bigger stradiums, then so be it. You cannot justify using that as an excuse to totally kick loyalty in the teeth. These prices are an utter disgrace. It is more money than Man Utd. It is London, but so what? I's a sh1t-h0le of a ground and our team are relegation fodder.

Screw the club - I will not be paying that unless it was a top game. See myself going to less than half the games than last year...maybe none, depends on how annoyed I am in a few weeks.

Correct me if I'm wrong but these are the average prices of a home game. Not every game will have the same price so some will be more than £47 and some will be less. So potentially games like Wigan, Blackburn, Stoke, etc which would fall into Category C (if they keep the current category structure) would be less than £47 for Bronze.

How much will they charge the restricted views I wonder? They have extended the gantry too. How are they going to justify paying high prices for not being able to view the pitch well?

Hopefully when they categorise the games the bottom tier games will come down abit.

They need to notify us of the exact match day prices for all categories of games before they can expect anyone to part with money.
This is not a 'i'm only going to this game' reason, i just think we should be told.
