  • Why do the club feel the need to pish us fans off?

An ickle bit of simple maths - wack prices up and all we generate a couple of hundred K more than last year thats ALL.

Ali Russel was being paid £250,000 a year, it's not many more dollars than that extra into the clubs coffers

It's virtually nothing compared to the new monies from Sky/Sponsorship etc etc which are estimated at anything from £40 million to £80 million.

So, now we truly are "rich" why does the club feel the need to cheese of long standing fans? It's not really a commercial thing is it? Are we that money hungry that the drop in the ocean of a couple of extra K means that much to us?

The more i analyse the figures it just doesnt make sense. And why all the BS spread to fans by club employees to fans and fans groups about rewarding long standing fans when they've done nothing and I mean nothing to reward anybody?

In Warnock we trust but this board from Mittal to Flavio can moo may lay mera.

Have had a few hours to think and well, they're all full of it

Because they don't understand what it means to be an R.

    Parade? Nah, don't need one......

I have said it a thousand times before, and I will say it one more time. We were bought by successful business men, and many rejoiced at the fact. But our successful business men are involved with F1, Renault F1 (well used to be), Billionaires stores, etc. How many times have you ever seen an ordinary Joe off the streets interviewed at an F1 event? Probably never, but the film stars, royals and other hangers on are on the TV all the time. F1 fans are different animals from us Footy fans. How many Renault F1 or McLaren fans do you know? (I admit Ferrari are a different animal, but very much an exception to the rule.) F1 fans follow the whole sport or a local driver, would you change teams if your favourite player was transferred? No, didn't think so.

Look at the pricing model at Fulham. They don't have that many more seats than us, and I refuse to believe that they have a bigger fanbase than us. But they have someone in charge who knows all about customer satisfaction. Bloody shopkeepers, gotta hate them....

    Rant over....
A message to the other Premier League clubs when they visit Loftus Road.....

Agree mate F1 fans may go to one event a year so easy to justify the cost. 19 home games plus away matches it's just getting too expensive

Very sad day. Completely killed the joy of getting to the Premiership!

Quite frankly I think I would rather be back in Div 1, **** football, no money - but at least we could afford to go - true fans, all united and it was a laugh travelling to all the **** grounds.

Shall not be seeing me much next year over in W12

The mentality is if you can't afford it or even question price increases you must be Riff Raff and hence not be welcome. Wonder what Bentford are charging, maybe get down Hayes & Yeading.

This is all a product of Football being turned into Entertainment and no longer qualifying as a sport. Genuinely everything you went Rangers for is more or less gone just happy it ended on a highnote.

As you said, not often we agree on things, but look on the bright side, it appears that the club are doing their very best to get all the fans agreeing. Blimey, I never thought I would ever see P Fisher agree with anything that P Finney said, but it happened today....

Amazing, and yes I am still pretty p***** off as well.

I think one of the issues is that the club's board don't see a difference between a fan and a spectator, and there is a big difference.
BE and FB are more used to F1 crowds where the 'spectators' watch the event, and this is very different to loyal football fans following there team every week.
