Whereas you'll be creaming your cacks if the the club was to sell arguably the most talented player to ever grace the shirt, and replace him with a ten a penny big black bruiser.

Top player and I for one will be gutted if he leaves, it's been a pleasure watching him for the past two seasons. Wish him well whatever his decision may be.

I'm not altogther sure he would be the same in the premiership.

He is 21 and the hump a few times this season, can you imagine what it would be like next season?

Sometimes you have to move on. We've seen greats like Bowles, Marsh and ferdinand move on and I'd put Taarabt in that mould, but his temperament has never been proven in the premiership. You cannot take any prisoners in the premiership.

As much as Paul was a little over the top with his anti-Adel posts, I do find it amusing how no one is allowed to mention anything against Adel without being some kind of wrong'un.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I'd be glad, but I am saying it's not a bad thing. I genuinely feel he'll cost us a fair few times in the Prem, unless we buy another 6-10 'top quality' players to help out when he has his strops. He'll get frustrated a lot more in the Prem, and he'll take the attitude that he's too big for the club when others aren't on his level.

He's no Scott Parker who has class and will pick the team up, especially when they are all playing like c**ts. That's the type of point I am getting at.

                      Come on then...Let's hear it...
                      Your mum would love me...

IMHO as much as i love Adel we WILL be better off without him in the premier league. For example when he was doing his show pony tricks in the Championship and lost the ball we often got away without being punished. The game at home against Watford springs to mind when realistically we could have been 6-1 down at half time due to Adel losing the ball on numerous occasions and leaving us sparse at the back. Luckily Watford didn't punish the mistakes that night and a few other teams didn't too during the season. In the premiership it will be a different ball game. True Adel will have matured a bit more next season and im sure he will be a greater talent than this last season but to counter that he will be up against much better defenders and also strikers who will punish us when he loses the ball.

Yes he has been one of our most talented ever players but in IMHO nowhere near good enough to lick Stan B's ball bag. Not even in the same league as Stan. Most of Adels tricks are practised on the training ground whereas Stan's were purely natural. As much as i hate to say it we will be better off without him this next season. I sincerely hope he proves me wrong as i love a our maverick talent but i cant help thinking if we hold on to Adel it will be our downfall next season. Prove me wrong Taarbs!!!

The point is, he is unproven because he hasn't really had the chance since he was 18, and it would just be good to see if he can hack it in the Prem, rather than assuming the worst.
Bowles was also unproven, I remember people in '73 who were making very loud mutterings about his temperament not holding up to the top flight, yet he rose to the challenge and the rest is history.
Who's to say AT won't be the same as Bowles?
Sometimes you have to take a risk to get the best out of life/football/players.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

We need to keep him for a year, nw has the ability to manage him.

He might not be the same player but that one second of magic can mean 3 points at home versus norwich, stoke, wolves , Blackburn etc in a crucial 6 pointer. His passing become more crucial in the perm !beyond that I doubt he'll stay but for his own career he must stay 1 more year!
