Not sure about the season ticket prices, but think you'll find the big jump is for new season ticket holders.

Harsh if you have just turned 16 and have decided to stay on at school ! Because there is loads of jobs out there for school leavers ! NOT !

I have a 7 year old and a 15 year old and these prices are a little harsh to be honest

Understand your reasoning but to play devils advocate, why should a 16 year old in full time employment pay any less than a 22 year old in a similar job?

Whilst undoubtedly beneficial on a personal level, ultimately the cold hard business case is that people make a personal choice to go into further education. I think you have to keep your concessionary prices within the "compulsory" age ranges, especially when you are in a situation of demand possibly exceeding supply.

I was able to log on at about 2 PM today. The season tickets were listed and available to renew, which I will do except I didn't have my credit card!

While Nodge70 is probably right about the economic reality of discounted tickets a 70% increase for a familly of 3 is alot of money, for me at least. I never expected the free under 8's to continue though.

I didn't see whether these were early bird prices - I don't think it said - and since I haven't been able to logon!

Exactly what my missus has been saying to me for weeks, she said we were all jumping about but the reality will hit tomorrow.
