This means CMS will jump from League 1 to the Premiership and fire goals in for fun. He would struggle to do this on Championship Manager let alone real life!

Plus Beckford scored a hatful in the championship before moving to the Prem. For the record CMS scored 10 goals in his championship stint. Hardly premiership pedigree. I would rather see Nodge up front for us next season ( no offence Nodge! )
Read what you have said, check the facts and then we will chat some more.

Beckford has scored 10 goals for Everton this season and some have been very important goals, in big games and how many goals has he scored in the Championship ?, as wikpedia says he has scored 72 goals for Leeds United, 8 goals for Scunthorpe and 1 goal for Carlisle all in League 1. He went from Leeds (league 1) to Everton (PL) this time last year and has done very well, so it does happen.

Robert has made no secret that he wants to finish his career out in MLS, however with the new rules coming in there from next season regarding overseas 'designated players' if he doesn't go this summer he will miss the boat.

Fancy a move there may be an outside bet.

No thanks would prefer Danny Graham or Daniel Sturridge. Especally on the wages Keane has been on lately, understand when offered to us on loan last year he was on £65.000 a week, For another £10.000 £75.000 combined we could probably get both of the above. But not sure we're in this pay league and they will both end up elsewhere

We can sign CMS IF we sign at least two experienced prem strikers additionally.

Remember, we MUST establish ourselves in this league as soon as possible.

Sturridge would be the daddy at W12 but out of our league. He surely will be a starter for Chelsea next season and if he is not, would be perfect for Arsenal.

The funny thing here is I bet Robbie Keane is on more wonga than Sturridge, but who is better ?

I can see valid points in both arguments here.

Keane has experience and a proven record at this level, which is why I would be interested in signing him. But only on reasonable pay as you play wages, I wouldeven offer similar terms to Owen, if he was interested.

However, I would also like to try and sign Graham, Boothroyd, and even CMS if he fee is not too excessive.

I agree that Beckford has done well in the Premier League, and I was one of those that had doubts about him and would not have paid more than 2M to Leeds for him.

Lower league strikers can come good in the PL, DJ Campbell has also had an excellent season.

One thing is certain though. If QPR plan to stay a PL club, they will need about 4 new strikers and these should have a mixture of experience, youth, pace and ability to score goals as well as bring others into play. A super sub like Phillips wouldn't be a bad option either. To sign these, the QPR Board will need to be prepared to spend more than they have been doing so far. It will be nigh on impossible for QPR to stay up if they don't spend to improve the squad drastically.

He wasn't offered to QPR on loan last season. Where on earth did you hear that?

Kranjcar is the one I'd really like, particularly if we lose Tabs but probably unrealistic. There are still quite a few clubs somewhere between us and Spurs (the Villas, Evertons, even Fulhams, not to mention foreign clubs) and they will more chance.

Being Irish, i would love to see a few more irish players at QPR, but id have to say no on Robbie, he's become way too negative, always diving and is increasingly lazy aswell, he was top quality in his day, but if i had my way he wouldnt line out for the national team let alone QPR, although we dont have much replacements in Ireland for him...
