Not sure how to feel about this. On one hand I dont rate Blackstock and am DELIGHTED if we have managed to get near 2 Million for a player I feel is overrated and one we only paid 500k for. On the other hand i've just read Helguson is out for the season....erm what the hell do we do now???

Also, as much as I dont rate Blackstock I fully expect him to now do the business for Forest!

Are we sticking with Di Carmine on his own for the rest of the season? Are we going to rush Vine back? are we now going to thrust German, Balanta and Rose into the mix?

Id hope they have a loan replacement lined up or, love him or hate him, Blackstock leaving now leaves us seriously short of striking options!!
Will change my user name to half full when QPR give me reason too...

How many clubs would loan out their top goal scorer. Dex is our top goal scorer with 11 in the league. Six more than the 2nd top goal scorer, Helguson. YOU COULDN'T MAKE IT UP !!

How could the club makes matters worse........oh yes, they could announce large ST price rises tomorrow for the 2009/2010.

You got a spare can of Stella, Scott ?

i would be miffed if there was (realistically) still something to play for, for the fact that he is out top scorer. However that may be, he is not the type of player we should have starting in our 11 if we are looking to be challenging for playoffs/promotion next season. So this will only turn out to be a mistake if we do not replace him with an upgrade in the close season.

              Dexter

hope his life is good and he gets what he so much wanted at qpr regular first team football...why oh why dont we let them have lee camp for 500 000 hes not worth the million we asked for him

then we could takle a lovely 2.7 million from them if they go down i expect dexter to score 30 goals next season and to be resold for four million

not happy with timing of the deal, but if fee is over 1.5m id be happy to release at end of season.

sadly we are left short with strikers..

HH injury prone, vine - just coming back

                balanta untested

                SDC cant play lone striker...

                any1 coming in?
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
                Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

If all the details are correct, then it's a good bit of business FOR THE END OF SEASON!!!!
I can't believe we've let Blackstock go when he's our top scorer and we are severely limited in that department anyway. I think he must have wanted to go, to be honest. Pushed by Flavio, I suspect. :anger:

Or is this Briatore's way of saying "sign up for your season tickets or I will start culling players due to the cost of wages".

                  Hmmmmm.

Or else Sousa already knows he's not in his plans for next season and the offer was "let us have him now, or else" and too good to turn down?

It would be just our luck that he will go and score loads of goals for Forest

                        sad, sad, sad day..

not happy at all, so wrong for him to go.

You can all go back to militant protesting and calling for board sackings now.
Arguing with a scientist is like wrestling a pig in mud... sooner or later you;ll realise you're muddy and he's enjoying it.....

I know people will have a go at me but,

I dont think hes very good at all, in his defence he can get goals which is good for a striker but hes SO lazy and doesnt do much else for the team imo.

Im happy hes gone and hope its for good money if he signs for Forrest come end of the season.
                          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

hes brilliant in the air can do everything and destined for the full england squad but we were in the sitruation where we didnt have a very good manager so he would be sold
a bad manager will always sell good players and keep bad players
                                thats life
