    i remember

i remember back in 69 the chelsea boys were terrifying and used to take the whole of loftus road because before all seaters they could bring 20 thousand chelsea fans but the first time we played chelsea about 1983 when chelsea were only allocated 2-5 thousand tickets the chelsea met funky c mob for the first time and for the very first time qpr chased them all over shepards bush..................after that first result qpr have had many results against the chelsea, but the very first time in the eighties was the first and the most precous time that little qpr stood there ground

NOW THAT WAS A PRECOUS MEMORY

I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

                        • Early eighties, in the ground by 2pm, catching the 105 bus before 10pm to avoid paying adult fare on evening games..later jibbing in the seats, stackdowns (not so much at home), choring a programme, jumping the train. wearing your brand new threads and ruining them..Yikes was the gaf in slough, China whites normally hit the spot

Used to go to the Limelight in Aldershot on a friday night. Also Labyrinth in Peckham and Lazerdrome in Brixton. Also Sterns in Worthing.

Loved the big raves like Raindance and Perception etc.,although this was more around the early 90's.

Late 80's was the illegal warehouses in East London.
