Of course there were a few cans of ale consumed, and a few sarnies went down the hatch, bit of flag waving and singing as you do.... but we as QPR fans didn't abuse 'The Green' - We cleaned the area up, left it just as we found it possibly even more tidy, including the dog-ends! At least the council provided plenty of waste disposal bins all over 'The Green'! We all love our football club, virtually goes without saying, as a totally unofficial gathering it was obvious to all, including the one police observation van, that we'd do nothing to put our beloved club Queens Park Rangers FC, in any sort of jeopardy. Think maybe our club and the council should recognise this, instead of producing belittling literature in the press, OK maybe NOT Rangers, but certainly Hammersmith council..... We're ordinary people, not ragamuffins who want to cause a disturbance or annoy people who are going about their own daily life. We shouldn't have to make our own QPR promotion celebration party -This was nothing more than the QPR players and Neil deserved, and certainly for our fans who've spent shed loads following Neil and the team home and away...... As QPR supporters we're no different than any other professional football club followers in this, or any other country, for me it was a sad sad day when Rangers fans and staff were denied the promotion celebration of what has been possibly our finest footballing season in the history of QPR...... end of!

Just a little PS from my wife Kathy..... It's funny how we keep being referred to as "A great set of fans" well it doesn't particularly feel like that when the club don't want us to join in with the townhall celebration! Sounds like their sentiments are just like pie crust, something there for decoration only! Wonderful that the mayor got to have her picture with the trophy we have waited 35 years for, funny I don't remember seeing her at Swansea on that Tuesday night, or being part of the 8 hour odyssey back from Leeds in the snow... maybe I just missed her ladyship, I'm sure she deserved to celebrate more than us!
