  • My list of players

I know it has been done already but it's 3am I have just got back from a ball in Park Lane well juiced up and have nothing better to do.

Graham, Maynard, Sturridge, Naughton, Ridgewell, Woodgate , Johnson( Man City) Johnson (Leeds) Reo Coker, Bougherra, Clyne, owen Hargreaves, Ashley Williams, Giles Barnes and a complete outsider Osbourne from Villa, a young CM that played for Boro a year on Liam and completely dominated the midfield that day.

I think between 10-12 m would pick you up that lot, other than Sturridge all quite achievable.

Reo Coker would be a nice signing. He´s a right battler, and we will need that

I thought Johnson had made it back into the Man City squad, the rest I know are gambles but even if only one from Woodgate, Barnes,Hargreaves or Johnson paid off we would be laughing, all would be free transfers, a pay as you play type deal.

What it does highlight are the free transfers available, we could be on the brink if something quite special.

You talking about Michael or Adam Johnson? Michael is supposedly the raging drunk, Adam is an England international and is wayyy out of our league.

Micheal, I didn't know about his drinking, I noticed he was in recent City squads so it looked like he was fit again, drink problems are sometimes worst to recover from.

It's Adam Johnson who's been in the squad, there's been no sign of Michael for some time now

I could be wrong but I was sure he played in the Europa league at the turn of the year as Leeds where looking to take him in loan, he was a top young up and coming player a few years ago.

Add David Vaughan from Blackpool to that list. He is also a fighter we might need? Anyway, I think so.

Michael Johnson is completely knackered. Came through at City just before all the money arrived, got himself a massive new contract, and as soon as quality players turned up, was suddenly "injured" and has been for 3 seasons now. There were big rumours a year or so ago that Citys physios could find nothing wrong with him but he kept reporting "pain" and going home again.

The sad fact is that Reo-Coker has absolutely no heart for a battle anymore. Too much £££ and too much ego done for him.

Very sad, they will regret it in a few years, both very talented guys, but still enough quality around at the moment.

I shall relay you thoughts to my dear wife, I somehow suspect her views may differ.

It was the Dennis Wise in the community foundation trust do, funny I never had him down as that type, just goes to show eh.
