INDIAN billionaire Lakshmi Mittal will table a buyout bid for QPR tomorrow that could spark a multi-million pound war with Manchester City for the Premier League title.

Steel magnate Mittal, who has a fortune of more than £17billion, is prepared to put his money where his mouth is to pip City’s oil-rich owner Sheikh Mansour for football’s richest prize. Mittal’s son-in-law Amit Bhatia, who also has a stake in the Premier League new boys, warned that his father-in-law will spend “what it takes” to see his club crowned champions.

Mittal, who wants to buy out F1 ty****s Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone, has already promised manager Neil Warnock a preliminary £50million warchest. The ty**** has been waiting in the wings since he acquired a 20 per cent stake.

I don't really care about winning the Premier League trophy, just want to be like Everton ( Good team, good role model imo ) but I do want the Mittals to have more then 20%!

    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

        Brilliant.

One minute we have a budget of £10m and a wage cap of 15k a week, and the next minute were going to win the Premier League!

        Gotta love paper rumours.

Take this story with a pinch of salt. QPR will never attract top players to play at Loftus Road.

If Mittal does buy the club and wants to invest, he would need to invest enough money to build a decent solid side like Everton or Stoke, whilst investing in building a new stadium big enough to hold 30,000 with room to expand if success leads to an increase in demand for tickets.

The above would take a minimum of 4 years. Abramovitch had a big head start at Chelsea, in that they already had a decent side and a stadium that could hold more than 30,000. And City also had a reasonable side and the stadium. QPR have neither.

Good points but look at Fulham, good management has shown you can get some sort of success on a reasonable budget. Come on, who actualy believes that an Indian Steel Billionaire is gonne pump a load of his dough into a small ish West London side. IF yes IF we stay up this year we will atract better players but lets not kid ourselves here we will NOT be challenging for Prem titles.

Remember, this is QPR. I am no longer surprised by anything that goes on with our club. However I just hope the whole circus that surrounded the club doesnt come back because it unsettles the club. Since Warnock came to the club, the talking from the owners has calmed down alot, and now we have that stability weve been crying out for years! The owners should just do their business quietly, and the talking should just come from the manager in the same way the most succesful club in the country do it (Man United). I hope Mittal does take full control because with Flavio I can see a manager coming and going every other month. Stability is key in football

Don't take that any more seriously than I did Flavio's Champion's League boast of three years ago. BUT the mood music is good: a Mittel takeover appears to still be on the agenda and while we can only guess that is likely to lead to more rather than less being invested/ p***ed up against the wall (take your pick).

Oh, and it would mean seeing the back of Flavio the ty***n...

Papers have been desperate to start this story ever since the Mittals got involved in the club. You heard Mittals interveiw the other week,we will spend **** all if they are involved.

What I really hate about these rumours is the donut Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal fans I know who read this tripe and believe it...then you have to explain to them that its the a load of old ********.
