Epitome of a flat track bully.

If his name had been mentioned 12 months ago, people would be moaning like crazy and saying we needed to show some ambition and get a goalscorer.

66 goals in 308 games before this season outside the Premiership. Not good enough. Nowhere near hungry enough.

IF(who knows?) warnock wants him donīt underestimate his man-managing skills.

Fair enough but if you're going on that, and nothing against Helgsuon here, but in his 13 goals this season, just 1 came against a top 6 side, a penalty in the 4-0 win over Swansea. He scored just 5 goals against any side in the top 12 this season, 3 of those coming in the 3-0 wins over boro... But we don't judge him on that coz he brings other people into play and is strong, what i'm trying to say it that Bothroyd doesn't just have goals to his game and for a free transfer could do as good a job if not better than Heidur. Stats don't tell the whole story.

Bothroyd is not much better than Agyemang so people saying we aren't gonna sign anyone better are nuts. There are a lot more championship strikers we could get that would be more useful than Bothroyd.

BIG, BIG, difference is that Helguson has 5 years of Premiership experience. Helguson also has a 1 in 3 record over his career, compared with Bothroyds 1 in 5 at a lower level.

Helguson also runs his nuts off chucking himself into every tackle and header, Bothroyd slopes around the pitch waiting for balls to feet, and the second it goes against him gives up.

Wouldnt want him within 50 miles of Loftus Road. Let him go to Celtic, score 10 a season.

I would only take him on if the likes of Vine and Agyemang were cleared out and the wages were off the books . He would be decent backup for 2 proven strikers . Otherwise I wouldn't bother with him .
