I had tears in my eyes - especially for my Grandad who passed away only 2/3 months before. I'm 3rd generation R (possibly 4th gen) because of him and I miss him so much.
I saw my Nan last weekend - and told her the R's were promoted and she just said your Grandad would be so happy" - and most of my family is

know what you mean,my boys are 18 and 16 and this is the first time i've been able to stand along side of them and actually watch us win something, listening to me bang on about the good ole days falls in into insignificance when you actually witness us getting back into the premier, they are actually starting to believe now and i really hope we are not a one season wonder,it was very emotional day with all the flags and R's celebrating,my thoughts are with all of you who could'nt celebrate with a loved one,a very special day.

Exactly the same.
I've wanted that trophy since 1976, when I shed tears of sadness as a 12 year old listening to the radio as the Scousers scored 3 in the last 11 minutes to deny us.
All through the FA/Faurlin stuff, whilst others seemed happy to take a points deduction and settle for automatic promotion/runners up, I desperately wanted to be Champions, for that trophy.
When Adel lifted it, I couldn't help myself, 35 years of hurt. Numerous highs and lows since. It all got the better of me.
And whenever I think back to that moment, or look at my screensaver, it still brings a tear to my eye.

I had tears of joy & emotion when the news broke on footy focus that QPR would have no points deducted and then started to screan U Rsss and scare my wife and kids in the other rooms. I was emotionally drained that day.
Been great since we were crowned champs, get all the Liverpool and Utd fans at work interested in QPR (I work live and work in the Noth West). I have a QPR mug at work the one with the greatest QPR players of all time Parkes, Bowles etc and the guys same ages as me (40) and over start talking fondly of QPR players of the 70s.
Great to be back.
