  • Successful PL season...

... may we look at other clubs and who they have signed??
Personally I think our current squad could walk on Blackpool FC, and I just figured, other clubs that have stayed up (or of course been relegated) in the PL, with squads similar to ours, have not lit up the transfer market with millions, and millions and millions, in fact West Ham had a pricey season didn't they? Or at least recently have spent a lot and look at them (correct me if I'm wrong).
And I don't think QPR will be as tight as everyone is reporting, I was just curious as to see what other clubs did to find out:
    1. Whats the right kind of player to buy if we want to be like Stoke etc.
    2. Who to aviod if we don't want to be West Ham
QPR, remember that name, you'll be cursing it later

Probably better than Blackpool from the previous season.

Not as good as WBA or Newcastle.

I actually think this team would flirt with relegation, but might avoid relegation.

Need 5-6 players to ensure security in that league in my humble opinion

Flirt with relegation? Without strengthening I fear this squad will be humping relegation every which way. As you admit Blackpool is the only existing prem club (if it survives) that is weaker than us. To survive we would have to hope that Norwich, Blackpool and Swansea/ Reading all fail to strengthen significantly.

Agree with you about the need for 5/6 players and they need to be a bit of a step up in quality.

you said that before, I suppose you are going to say that till august, fact is, you don't know jack, just another alarmist/moaner
I think we will finish 17th, and the bet is still on, after you find out who we get transfer and loan -wise.
Question, did you think West Ham would go down this season? Or Blackpool?
