yes .....albeit begrudgingly and on the proviso that we sign a few new players of the calibre to at least give us a good chance of pl survival(current squad not good enough imo and would hate to pay a fortune on seeing us get walloped week in week out)
Also with the extra revenue our debt now needs to start being repaid..yes a juggle between survival as well as financial prudence.
If this can be achieved then in a few years we could expect pl football as the norm.
I am really stunned by these responses. Do we really expect Premier League football at the same prices ? I feel that these price changes are relative with our new found status. Yes, I do understand that we cannot all afford the new prices, but most have always found the money from somewhere. The board are in a no win situation, and we are now making us a victim of our own success. Would we rather pay 35% less, and still be in the Championship ?
i'm still on the fence on this one. I'm not sure if 35% is just taking us for all we're worth. At Arsenal they had the big "6%, you're having a laugh" situation. Granted their prices are much higher than ours already so 6% on top of that is a lot - but Fulham keep theirs low for Premiership Football.
Naturally i'd rather it be only a tenner for a ST but I do wonder what it's gonig to be like in years to come when smaller increases are added on a yearly basis regarless of performance
