I'm surprised at this. Would've thought it would be nearer the 11-12000 mark. If the season does not go that well, we will not sell out the Birmingham, Norwich, Wigan, Swansea/Reading type of games.
Exactly what I was thinking mate. It seems as if the board are anticipating a sell out EVERY single game which is fair enough but at the prices it will be on match days the games you mentioned will be 15,000 affairs.
Perhaps 90% = Flavio/Bernie and 35% = Mittal. Straws and clutching spring to mind.
That was how I read it. If the board have agreed on 35%, that to me would indicate that the Mittals are alive and kicking and had a big hand in the pricing decision, knocking (probably) Flavio down from that awful 90%.
Flavio so wants us to be a big, plush, soulless, corporate, boutique club -- if he ever succeeds, it would rip the true nature and the heart out of the club.
That would be a big shame, as Warnock has gone a long way to restoring it.
If true what an absolute joke! As a newly promoted team where is the justification in charging more than many established prem teams. With all the rumours of wage caps and little money to spend just wonder where our prem money is actually going?! Suppose this is why they have rushed through an "exciting signing", so that we think the acquisitions will continue in this mould. You can guarantee they won't!
I seem to remember Stefan Moore was spun to us as an exciting signing!!
Reading the article again though it does state 35% for the most expensive season tickets so perhaps that increase is only for the W12 and C Club seats?
I am clutching ay straws but just maybe the rest of the season tickets will have a smaller increase?
Pay the money and stop whinging. How else are we going to fund better players wages? because that's what you'll all be moaning about next. Time to realise we are now dictated to by the evil of the premiership... Money money money

Working on this 35% my STUDENT season ticket will be an average of £27 a game. So to get value they must be charging £30 a game at least for a student. Complete joke. Season tickets are supposed to be value for money
Well I would say wait and see what the official announcement actually IS. For example, my ST was £600 for 23 games = £26 per game. Increase 35% = £35 per game. 19 games = £665.
Who knows? The article also refers to the most expensive option, which could be without earlybird etc, so I'm not panicking YET
But might do soon
Perfect scenario this 35% relates to NEW season tickets in the most expensive areas but who really thinks that is the case??? I don't think anyone expected them to stay the same but this is still a hefty increase

Think you may want to redo your Maths mate, 35% increase on the total price, not per match basis so your ST would go from £600 to £810, or £43 per game.
