  • NEIL Warnock's job at QPR is safe, the Chronicle understands.

Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

Reports this week suggested the Rangers boss was facing the axe, with Bernie Ecclestone poised to sell his 62 per cent share in the club.

Former Chelsea chief Claudio Ranieri and Marcello Lippi have been linked with the role, although the latter has distanced himself with the post.

But your favourite local paper has been told Warnock's position at Loftus Road is safe after leading the club to the Championship title in his first full season in charge.

Meanwhile, former QPR boss Paulo Sousa has been confirmed as the new manager of Hungarian champions Videoton.

If the chronicle are correct, does this suggest:
    A) Bernie & Flav are leaving.
    B) Bernie & Flav bottled sacking him, to avoid all the bad PR that it would bring.
    C) Bernie & Flav have finally realised he is the perfect man to do the job on a shoestring budget.

I think on the basis ST prices have not been released yet, that confirm their is a battle behind the sceens to see who runs the show (Pinky & Perky = High prices and the Mittal's = reasonable prices) and I hope your are right. I hope it is A, but i fear it is C............ until Christmas.
