Strip out the money our 'Saviors' are owed, which they will more than certainly take back, now we are rolling in it and I would say the £10m is an 'all inclusive figure' and NW will keep the funds from any sales on top of that.

Thats the 3rd time I've seen an article saying we don't have more than 10m to spend and the other day Warnock said that he hopes to have a 'bit more than 2m'.

The whole point of a message board is to discuss things like paper articles. If its substance is right or wrong nobody really knows but you can discuss it
....but most of what the papers write is a load of tosh.I'd rather debate the goings on of the Beano and dandy ! But you are right about the chill pills..

Maybe the owners want the 60 mill then further 48 mil parachute monies, and do a WBA and be a yo yo club but in good finance.

Dont worry Brighton, Jeffro suffers with the same disease weare has, where they believe their opinions are the only valid ones. Its not a permanent disability and they will grow out of it as they get older and wiser, so just bear with them.

Well maybe if we had a higher class of poster and someone that could embrace flair, we wouldn't have this problem?!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

10million isn't bad at all. Imo we just need okay wages as there are many good free agents every year.

                    10million -
                    Naughton
                    Graham
                    Me
Bougerra, and a few others, suits me fine

Free agents there is Upson, Bowyer, Me again, Bothroyd, Ashley Williams etc etc

                    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Have to say that is absolute peanuts in the Premiership and I have us as nail on certs to go down next year. £15,000 is just a bit more than Blackpool pay.

Looks like once again our owners are trying to do it on the cheap and all their talk about spending to ensure we stay up was hot air. :strive:
but surely you knew that in January
we get loan players and frees, and 10 million gets you a 5 million striker
and a couple of fullbacks, what did you expect rangers would spend? 30 million? don't make me laugh. You should know how Neil and the club operate, we don't want to go in debt, and we don't want to be like the hammers, 8th highest wage bill in the Prem, still went down. Now they lose all their high wage earners, and they have to survive on cheaper players.

Nail on certs James? your words mean nothing without cash to back it up. Talk is very very cheap.

Personally I would ignore paper chat and listen to direct quotes from our owners and managers. Mittal has acknowledged that we need a Center forward so here's hoping!

In business I would never talk about how well my company is doing to my suppliers incase they decided to up their charges. That's why I dress like a ho-bo. Same goes for QPR and our transfer comments/budget.

Let's just keep our fingers crossed. If I was one of the owners I would ensure at least 3 seasons of sell outs and then build the new ground that will make us sustainable. Basically a long term investment.

                            Great, your back

Talk is cheap...I'll say that next time you #### of the team despite not watching the game.

You seem to be missing my point, re-read my post again. I'm not saying we need to spend millions...but instead a decent amount that matches with the owners supposed ambitions.

Warnock has already said the ambition is to be a club such as Stoke or Bolton. All i've said is to do this we need to spend a bit more than 10m. Not once did I say we should go crazy. Tell me, how much did stoke spend last year on two players despite them already having a premiership quality squad?

I think you've been watching to much malaysian football.

                                When have you not?

Your still missing my point. I don't know how much we are going to spend this summer...but if it is anything less than 10m then I am sure we will go down. It may well be more, if thats the case then I would expect us to stay up. I'm just commenting on what the article says.

I wouldn't bet until I saw our actions in the transfer market.
