Mittals only own 30 odd percent ! I'm sure they would invest more but 30 something percent gives you very little say. Ecclestone is 80, with the greatest respect in the world could drop down tomorrow, then we are left with Flavio who can't help but stick his nose in and is terrible PR for the club.

    These are worrying times

No disrespect, but money and passion for QPR, more than mittals - to be something bigger than average. Tango is very ambitious more than any other owner. Maybe too much, thats why he messed up. He learned from his mistakes though imo and will grow stronger.

If Flavio wasn't there Bernie would have spent 0, He cares about football (QPR) as B and M don't.

Can't agree more. Lets hope we are lucky and get owners that spend, spend and spend. We were top team in London 1992-93. Bring back those much missed days. We waited long enough

Did you know he is a billionaire? 30% he could have bought more if he wanted! He is Indian and they only save not spend I'm afraid

We need football passionate owners with bucks to spend

We are a London based Prem Club now mate with great history. Wouldn't be difficult to replace Bernie with someone more passionate about football, imo.

Nothing like a bit of racism...

Mittal is an aggressive businessman with a track record of purchasing businesses that he wants.

If he genuinely wanted QPR, he'd buy it. When they invested, the Mittals made it clear they were doing so as 'fans'. They want rid of Briatore to 'clean' the brand, not to drive the club forward.

If he was as aggressive as you say! He would have paid them off, no questions. He is not a QPR fan BTW and no more than an investor with intention of spending little and profiting mills a year with mediocre football.

                    Would you settle for that?

I believe he was sarcastically adding 30% to 80 years old....

Bhatia actually was a 'fan', by which you can read he had at least heard if QPR.

Mittal doesn't love the club, he essentially invested with his mates to have a place for his mates to go of a weekend.

He would buy out Flav & Bernie to clean up a brand he is associated with and then bring in fellow investors.

If the price being asked is ridiculous he will cut and run.

If I was a multiple billionaire I'd still walk if asked to part with £100m for the rest of the shares.
