Mittal or Flavio and bernie, not all 3 or even 2 Mittal and Flavio.
Well, I'd say it probably isn't a simple case of buying out BE/FB shares. There's Amulya, and there's settlement of loans made by BE to fund the club over the last year. Negotiations to thrash out a deal could be straightforward or fairly complex depending on the view that each party wishes to take.

What all parties would I think realise is that the longer it takes to resolve, the more difficult it becomes to undertake the work necessary to ensure we stay up in the Prem, and therefore the more the value of the business diminishes. It's therefore probably in the interests of all parties to agree a deal and move on asap.

Its is surprising we have no hint on next seasons prices week after end of season and its inconceivable those have not been set/done.

Do think Mittals might reduce it if they take full control. (thats just a gut feeling)

or let bernie and flavio take the flak and then come in on a charger as the saviours but saying "oh terribly sorry, prices fixed now, can't do anything about it."

can't see takeover being resolved too soon. v complex issues to work through. think how difficult it is to buy a house - well it will be like that times a hundred.

Its never plain sailing with QPR is it!!!! It would reflect seriously badly on us if we dont pull our socks up and find us in a position this time next week with Warnock not as manager because of our egotistical owners!!!!
This meeting could well decide our fate in the premiership before we even kick a ball thats how big i believe this decision to be!!

On the other hand, there's no reason to think it's only just occurred to all of them to start talking about this. Promotion's been nailed on for some time, so it's highly likely a framework for a deal has been in place for a while.

I'd regard the delay in announcing ST prices as fairly positive, i.e. if they didn't see a deal as being imminent, they'd have gone ahead and announced details by now.

Mittals = "How much for your shares"

Bernie = "How much you got"

Mittals =" Come on Bernie you know how much i got , it's all over the bloody papers each week. Around 17 billion i think, so how much for your f**king shares"

Bernie = "Gives us a ton and we got a deal"

                  Mittals ="Done"

                  How hard was that!

Speculation isn't really going to help anybody, obviously everybodies pretty unanimous on the ideal outcome.

Its what Bernie wants that I'm worried about. The last accounts said we were a club with around 25mil in assets with a 45mil debt, which I presume grew again last year as the board are *loaning* the club more every week rather than *investing* in it. Yet, Bernie recently stated he wanted 100mil for his share. Now I know that the Prem is where the money is, but 100mil for QPR is having a larf, surely?

Cant believe your surprised Pete Every year we are late out of the gate with something. Its normaly something like the new shirts not being available till mid August or memberships taking an age to reach people. To be honest, Ive been kicking around this planet for to long for anything to ever surprise me at QPR any more.

                            Very. The BRDC will attest.

Whilst Ecclestone and Briatore taking control wouldn't be a disaster, it's clearly the less preferential outcome.

BE clearly doesn't care and whilst he remains in situ at F1, QPR will always be a far lower priority. From what I've heard, FB is a good guy to have around the Club but clearly doesn't "get" football culture and has been openly disdainful of his core customer base.

Whilst the cash and the passion is with the Mittal's (and possibly Vijay Mallya), BE and FB have unrivalled access and exposure to worldwide range of top notch brands and potential sponsors.

If BE/FB retain the majority shareholding and the Mittal's walk away, it does put us in a more parlous financial position and a likelihood of a return to the managerial merry go round starting in a week or so.

                            Good dilemma really. Interesting times.

Briatore wants Ranieri and, by the whistles in the wind, half the Roma and Fiorentina teams too. Everything else would sort itself out.

In the unthinkable event of this occurring, I'd assume we'd "reluctantly" grant permission for West Ham to speak to NW.
