Prefer grounds with the corners closed in and with stands that have more than one tier

If I took a ground from this country to model a new ground on then I'm afraid to say I'm going to have to go with....

There is an abundance of people in the Hillingdon are who would go to games if it was in 'suburbia' as apposed to W12, where the locals do not go unless it is free. Football is a business now, not a hobby and you need a complex that is generating cash 24/7. If they can do the same in W12, fine but there is to much competition from conference, hotel and entertainment venues nearby and in town.

Also, i cant see them setting up a first call training center in concrete jungle and why pay rent to a landlord, when you can have everything under one roof in 'suburbia'.
If Arsenal took a similar view, they'd be playing in a nice spanking new ground somewhere between St Albans and Hemel Hempstead. They didn't, they stayed true to their roots (well, the north London cuckoo part) and found a suitable site in inner city Islington. No reason why we can't do the same. Our current location is absolutely fine for transportation and maximising corporate revenue. No need to move, but there is a need to expand.

                    Good shout mate.

As long as we don't build a ground like Arsenal, Leicester or another souless bowl, I'll be happy. The sort of 'square' shape stadiums are great for atmousphere.

Yes, because Highbury had such a great atmosphere... it is not square sides that make the atmosphere it is the fans. If it is enclosed then there is nothing about square sides that would make a better atmosphere.

                        Wow...Point missed.

The structure has a lot to do with this as well. The bowls, unless full of 90,000 vocal fans ie: Bernabau and Camp Nou tend to lose the noise.

That's what I am getting at.

We struggle enough to get LR rocking. We'd be the biggest joke in the PL if we had a ground incapable of holding noise.

You've never sat in the School end then? LR doesnt generate noise unless all 3 sides are signing....which was about 4 games this season and Oldham 10 years ago!

That Red Bull stadium in Germany looks perfect. Can't remember who plays there. Saltzberg possibly? Anyone got any pics of that?

I would buy the BBC site and build an exact replica of Loftus Road
A blog of my first season ticket, and QPR's return to the Premiership after 15 years
