          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

buying the BBC space would be decent, but would need to do it quick. Would take a number of years to get it flattened and stadium up. How many seats would we go for? 30k? 40k? Could rent out for internationals, seeing that we do at the moment, even at LR!

Central European geography not on the curriculum then in the London Borough of Wandsworth?

That would be good as would Ibrox, which is not a bowl shaped stadium and the stands are close to the pitch.I think Schalke's ground is simialar (or it could be another German club's ground that I saw in the Europa League that I am thinking of).

The site would preferablty be easily accessible by public transport (one of the main reasons why Spurs want the Olympic stadium). Having to drive to the game would prevent many fans from getting to the game although it might attract new local ones instead.

The structure has a lot to do with this as well. The bowls, unless full of 90,000 vocal fans ie: Bernabau and Camp Nou tend to lose the noise.

That's what I am getting at.

We struggle enough to get LR rocking. We'd be the biggest joke in the PL if we had a ground incapable of holding noise.
I haven't missed your point at all - I just happen to not agree with it in the slightest.

I have been to loads of grounds and the shape only makes a difference if noise can easily escape. The MOST quiet stadiums I have been to are all classic old style, four stand jobs. But again - it was nothing to do with that.

Soul-less bowl is a cliche with nothing to support it. Moving to a new stadium, if poorly managed means a loss of noise can happen as fans are split up and new fans come in. As many new stadiums are bowls, maybe that is where the peception has come from.

"Soulless Bowl" is a nothing term, normally used by opinionated people after watching a crappy game, in a half filled ground like Coventry. The Liberty stadium was not a soulless bowl last night and I bet Cardiff's new ground will have plenty of soul tonight as well. Price accordingly so the grounds are full and give the fans something to shout about and they will.

Oh and some QPR games have been like a funeral parlor this season.

To be fair you have a point Paul, although for the looks i'd rather have a square ground.

Maybe the majeski is the way forward so we have the option to build and expand.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Good points Paul, especially the last one.

It would make little difference what shape the ground is if fans don't sing. And most QPR fans don't sing. Even the last game against Leeds, after the opening minutes, nearly all that could be heard on TV were the Leeds fans.

I would also add that if QPR had a bigger ground, priced the tickets better and had success on the pitch, they could easily fill a 30,000 seater stadium.
