wtf is he on about, he's just gained promotion as champions what more does he want. Come on, i know you've got to say the right things when you're a guest but really.

He means the massive amount of joy of winning what is a 90million cup match at the greatest stadium in the UK and one of the best in the world, with the whole world watching and 40k of your fans there, as opposed to amount of time when you go up and when not if, the final is so unpredictable that winning is so special that way.

So his comment last week that this is the best feeling he has ever had is BS is it then?
Sorry we didn't drop enough points Neil so that we could risk the play offs in order for you to go up at Wembley.

Play offs should be abandoned...why don't they have play offs for the bottom teams ?
Top 3 up full stop imo.

            Play offs are unfair.

Yeah, much preferred 3 up, 3 down.
I would agree that going up at Wembley would have been preferable to the hollow non=celebration and collective sigh of relief which our promotion consisted of this year. And if it's true that the whole thing was settled two weeks before the hearing, and the FA dug their heels in and insisted on a pointless hearing, that is disgusting -- if we had known two weeks earlier, everything from that point on would have been a real good feeling, without the spectre hanging over us.

But the feeling of losing the playoff finals is gut wrenching

He's only saying it because we're already up.

Wouldn't of said that a month ago.

                    Talk is cheap.

He's on the telly, and I presume he wants more telly work

"So Neil, what are you thoughts on SUPER MONDAY PLAY OFF ACTION that we're charging people £30 a month to watch"

"Sideshow mate. For joke clubs. Don't matter who wins they'll come straight back down"

He's just being gracious in victory like he has been all season. In nearly every game we played this year he bigged up and gave huge respect to the next opposition.

although play offs maybe not the fairest - they have breathed life into leagues that were mostly dead for the last two months.

They are box office and eveyone knows the rules. They have made the Championship more attractive.

I love them. Especially when we aren't in them.

The original 3 up, 3 down became boring for teams that were 4th or lower if 3rd was definitely clear. More teams are involved this way and I think it's better for spectators too..

Yes but in some cases the team in 6th place have gone up just because their current form over the play off matches are better. Surely if you finish 3rd you are the 3rd best team and should be the 3rd team promoted, it shows you have proved that over the whole season not just the play offs (in some cases the points difference has just been unbelievable)
(Unless you're Welsh of course, who should never be promoted to the Prem no matter what)
